I'm quite new to all of this but I have to say I am so very lucky and extremely grateful to Ahjan Brahm for his many teachings which here on TH-cam. So accessible despite being on the other side of the world (I'm in England, UK). I love the style of teaching, so much humour and in such an easy to understand language. Bless you Ajahn Brahm for sharing your wisdom. So very much appreciated and so so helpful.
Ajahn Brahm talks have a calming effects. Sometimes i listen to his random video just to destress, reduce tenseness, when im feeling down, or to unwind after a long day. Happy to see him looking healthy and well. Thank you Ajahn for all the peaceful & uplifting talks.
Ajahn Brahm helped me through some dreadful work place bullying that actually went on for ten years, just through listening to his ideas and attitude towards lifes difficulties and following his medication. Thanks Ajahn, you've done extremely well with your life, I hope you've kept a diary.
I’m a cancer survivor! Depression now is normal and so is crying! Sometimes I drop to my knees and start crying. One of the side effects of chemotherapy treatment is fatigue. It’s constant! I want to do “normal” things but ,,, the body tells me NO ! In 65 years my body has never said no to me until I was diagnosed with cancer last November. Now I know why I cry. Because my body says no! I want to go for a walk; but my body says no ! I want to get up and enjoy the morning; but my body says no ! I want to make myself something to eat; but my body says no! I want to swim or go for a walk and the body says no ! My body has never said no to me … ever ! And now it does. So I cry.
Ajahn Brahm, this has got to be one of your best Dharma talks. All the stories were so appropriate for me to hear again. I always learn something new. Peace to you. Sadhu Sadhu Sadhu. 🙏🙏🙏
Love this talk :) I do find having a cry once in a while is healthy. At least for me.. its how I release stress so I just let it happen if my body wants to cry one for apparently no reason haha.. I do always feel better afterwards :)

Is this okay that he says dog shit? I've never heard a monk swear. Very disappointing

I thought this talk was supposed to be about how it’s OK to cry but I haven’t heard anything about that yet. I would like to never have to cry again.
