Good seeing Belgium giving the occasional regulars 🇷🇴 a run for their money after that famous win against Portugal. Still a crime that the Six Nations will never open up to the next best REC teams, even a simple preseason tour of these countries won't hurt besides Georgia recently 🇧🇪 🇵🇹 🇷🇴 🇳🇱 🇪🇸
As an Irishman living in Bulgaria, following the Bulgarian national Rugby team, it's essential for the development of the sport of rugby that 6 nations teams give some game time to the teams playing in REC.
@@Vanjasper Perhaps a promotion and relegation format might work? Sure, it might just end up with Italy and Georgia swapping spots but might be worth a trial at least
After watching this match I can't understand how Portugal lost against Belgium. There was so weak defence for Belgium. The scrums were terrible for Belgium.
Portugal's starting XV fetaured only 2 of the players from the WC. Besides being a rebuilding team, the pitch in Belgium was awful and so was the weather. The Belgians also defended really well, I must say. And whil Romania won this match, it wasn't by a large margin. Belgium is certainly growing.
Portugal don't have a dominant forward pack like Romania do. Portugal a better team but forward dominance is irresistible. Hard day coming up for Belgium against Georgia.
I agree with your assessment Belgium is growing and today was another step in that direction. Identify areas that need improvement then work on them. A place on the top four of the REC is not out of the question in the next RWC qualifying cycle, from there anything is possible.@@joelmonteiro1419
@@Analytical2000 that guy had the job for literally 32 days. Portugal current doesn't have a manager and is under a World Rugby consultancy team. I forgot to mention that in my excuse on why we were so poor against the belgians. My candidate for replacing Lagiscquet was Romania's current coach, David Gerard, which was our forwards coach under Lagiscquet. He knows the team well and Romania has that advantgae over us.
I wish the clubs can afford to come play in SA. So much passion.💪
Why don't they play Namibia, Zimbabwe, Kenya and other such nations instead and help develop the game
@@Analytical2000 Good question
@@Analytical2000 it just comes down to cost. These rugby unions don't have a lot of money.
Good game, stejari! Keep up the good work 🤛🏻👊🏻👍🏻👏🏻
Good game, România!
Strong game 💪
Felicitări România
Nice Game 🏉🏉🏉
BETTER WATCH THAN IRELAND B BEATING ITALY 36 NIL
Hai și cu Portugalia; pe ei ,pe mama lor!
Succes!

A true European cup that includes the 6 nations would be great. Perhaps every 2nd year.

Portugal have a new head coach. Sébastien Bertrank replaced Patrice Lagisquet after the Rugby World Cup.
