There ya go. When you were in the walled gardens with 10 clickers... As soon as you tried out the bombs, everything went smoother. This game isn't actually as hard as it sometimes seems. You just have to learn what works and what doesn't. For example, you've learned that punching clickers is a strategy that you won't survive more than once or twice before one of them starts munching on your neck. I'm enjoying your play. I haven't watched a playthrough of TLOU for a while, so I was happy to stumble on your vids. Sorry if my comment borders on back seating. Good luck!
No it's all good, thank you for the help! This is my first story game really ever so it has taken a bit of trial and error to figure out what to do since my brain isn't used to this type of game.
@@cozyzozie I am not a gamer, nor do I know the game industry much at all. I'm just a sci fi fan who stumbled on TLOU gameplay videos and fell in love with these characters. Based on my watching dozens of TLOU videos, TLOU is a somewhat unique challenge. I don't think TLOU is a game that requires great reflexes, or great shooting skills, or great luck, or great precision, or perfectionism. What it DOES require is that you understand your environment, your weapons and the behavior of your enemies. IMO, TLOU is a "thinker's game". An observant player will often fare much better than a hardcore gamer. Any player who is conditioned, by their previous gaming experiences, to simply open fire on their enemies at all times... They may be in for a rude awakening. This is because the combat in TLOU is sort of realistic in some ways, relative to other games. For example, your guns are slow to reload, and you often can't survive combat with more than 2 enemies, whether in a gun battle, or in a melee situation. Sometimes you just have to do whatever it takes to keep yourself alive, whether that is running or hiding. That is a lot more like real life than a game in which you can survive by just blasting every enemy you see. Anyway, those are some of my observations, that have kept this game interesting to me. I would love to try playing TLOU one day. I would love to do entire playthroughs focusing on the use of one particular weapon, or focusing on avoiding enemies thru stealth, or focusing on killing all enemies thru stealth. I would also love to do an entire playthrough constantly watching Ellie to see what she is doing when other players aren't watching her. There are lots of ways to play this game.
Genuinely cracked up at 6:35 😂😂
LMAO
Fun fact, it's last of us day today. (Every year the 26th September). New season trailer just dropped.
There ya go.
