Yay we did it guys! The resale market is dead 🎉
😂😂😂 it's so bad this dude had to go back to his office job hoooolllleeey
@DarrianGomezhuh…that is not what hypocrite means lmfao. Bozo comment
@DarrianGomez be easy on the guy man come on
@DarrianGomez did you not hear him reiterating how small he is compared to those people? You’re mad at the people who purchase enough to control the market, go cry at them instead of someone with a 25 pair table lol…btw calling someone fanboy while crying paragraphs on their TH-cam comments is wild work 🤣

when did they state that exactly?
@@heybudstfunow what u been under a rock nike whole plan was to end the resell and take its place as the sole provider of sneaker retail and resell they already been reselling sneakers with their refurbished sneaker line check ya local Nike factory store bro
That's the dumbest thing. They want the resell market up. A good resell market results in good earning reports
@@Louie_Visionyeah but it also forces its direct consumers to move to other brands or replicas because no one can afford resale prices
@@jajajaog5008 I guess it depends on the area. But my weekly consignment sales are about $1,500-$2,000 weekly. And for back to school it's $2,500-$4,000 weekly. Last week's sales were $3,750
It’s a combination of reasons: the economy, high retail prices, Nike flooding the market with so many releases, people spending money on other stuff
Lol spending on groceries and rent

Nobody got money for this shyt no more.
For the people who bought pandas at 300 or whatever have to be punching the air for that poor quality of a shoe that was always meant to be a beater.
yes bro luckily i bought mine at 300 but sold all at $375!!!
@heybudstfunow nice come up! I never owned a pair just to basic only dunk I have is the curry dunk for retail on the recent restock, but the market being like this isna nice change.
@@wars_in_my_head9864 yes curry's i bought all mine around 400 and sold all at 500 so it's crazy their $90 now !!!
They have them at the Nike employee store for like $60 bucks all sizes lmaooo
People who bought worth 300 dollars are those who hate pandas right now. Lol
Nike stock is in the toilet. They got too greedy. I know for myself when air forces were 90 bucks it was much better. Now 115 120 is ridiculous. And my kids just want to wear crocs tbh.
👍. Prices were reaonsable for full family purchases previously, then Nike got greedy raising even infant toddler and pre school sizes. Made people shop elsewhere. Almost $100 for a pre school sneaker is insane
As much as I hate Crocs, from a parents perspective it's a banger that kids don't want expensive sneakers. I grew up wanting Nike, Reebok and Adidas now kids just want Crocs, boy have times changed.
@@darkspartan806 💯. I love it 😆

This was hilarious!
If you're a collector, you have to resell. Its the dudes who did it as main hustle that jacked it up. alot of the time after fees, taxes, time and shipping most are just breaking even. it's part of collecting and just having fun. but not meant to pay the bills.
Travis Scott is next, let's stop buying, then we can touch them!!

@@miketuminelli if you’re a collector you don’t have to resell…
@@tony4534 to each their own. And i guess it depends on your funds and space. But imo. there is a line you cross when you go from collector to hoarder. For me. Putting stuff in storage, and calling yourself a collector is just silly. And not everything goes into PC. some stuff may not do it for you and perhaps then you can trade it, sell it. gift it , wear it . some stuff you want to keep , landed first trick in these ... kissed first girl in these or whatever. those are staying. most of time we are just making room for new stuff . imo once something falls out of sight . out of mind. perhaps time to think of letting it go. Most of time if i sell something, the money is reinvested back into the collection anyways.
@@miketuminelli Not how it works. You’re free to collect as many pairs as you want. And so is everyone else.
Resale killed the sneaker game for real sneakerheads. No true consumer is sad to see the resell market die. Sorry.

resell isnt dead. Just looking at the wrong industry
What are you reselling?
@@mkingadiffernce jeezus dude read bro holllley
The days of 2021 are Over 🤷🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️ but reselling will never end so definitely make sure you got more than one hustle. As a SNKR collector I’m loving it back to the old school ways of grabbing shoes
Now they need to restock the shoes we really want
I always preach this there always be Jordan’s that timeless. New balance and ASICS will never be that when the hype dies down on those no one is going to want those they are hideous
Facts. Thanks to UA. We ain't never buying resell ever again. We don't even try to join any damn raffles. 😂
whats UA bruh?.... people were doing raffles with sneakers as prize?? crazy
got it.. UA are those replicas allegedly made on the same factory as the original.... yeah, and CSSBUY ... that shit is taking over
That line "Resell is Dead" in the beginning sounds so good. Goodbye resellers charging x3-x5 for regular shoes. Nike is doing a great job
Honestly you were lucky to be able to do it full time for as long as you did
People grew up and stopped caring about sneakers
I can’t say that there won’t be another pandemic whether it’s natural or government related I just don’t see the world going perfect forever and resale staying down 😂
The other problem re sellers have is the UA/Replica game is so close to the real mcCoy that buyers have dug in their heels and would rather have the rep for one quarter what the greedy re sellers are charging
probably a lot of people realized that sneakers are important anymore when youre trying to save money. I used to buy a lot now im looking at the shoes i do have any want to sell them now.
Resell dead, now just need retail prices to go down 50-60 bucks
Also this whole sneaker reselling started with the Kanye west/adidas hype in 2015, then Virgil with off white&Nike and Travis with Jordan. Back in 2020/2022 There was just more people buying shoes during the Covid because of the stimulus checks.
Facts ❗️ the market was overpriced, now it’s a u turn - due to economic factors prices are even below retail for a lot of sneakers

💀💀💀
I remember walking in the store and getting my 11/12 countdown package w/ taxi and bred 11s circa 2008
In a market like this is where if you are serious about reselling and not selling to other resellers you can make it into a successful business. I myself sell on consignment and make about a 30-40% return on each shoe. Finding the correct store with the foot traffic is key. Not every store can sell at a high price and volume.
I just miss waking up in the morning having to wait in line for a pair of sneakers. Was annoying at the time but now i miss that shit. I think apart from the ridiculous prices on reselling the high end collabs ruined it as well in terms of pricing etc. Brought in the wrong crowd.
The people that are actually wearing for the love of the craft are still having a great time ! I’m getting all the shoes I couldn’t get back in HS because they were astronomically overpriced. It’s hard to be hype about hype 24/7 especially if you have no love for the craft or the game.
All sneaker resellers should have to walk barefoot on legos.
It's going in cycles.... 10 years from now kids are going to want panda dunks because of nostalgia
Facts..that 2017-2018 timeframe was lovely for resellers
2011-2015 was the best resell market you could make a killing off general releases back then
On to the next thing. Do not buy to hold, unless you want to lose money
Yeah rare shoes will get less rare 😂😂😂
all markets taking a hit
Not the stock market. It’s at an all time high.
Good. Id rather buy a top tier UA than buy an overpriced shoe from a resellers.
It’s so tough these day😢😢
People also mature their footwear and Nike’s quality control and over saturated of those models you mentioned-plus the brand seems like it’s for young adults and no class. Basically high school and college market. New Balance and ASICS!
Great to see the resell market break and all the scalpers and speculators getting real jobs again 😂
Kris which McDonald’s location u at? Need you to flip my Big Mac and I’ll resell it to you! I bet your praying that there’s another CPFM or Travis Scott collab again too 😂
Nike literally released a statement that they don’t want resellers to make money off there product . So there over producing shoes so there is no resell value .
Bro, JMK, ain’t no shame in “getting a job “… we all out here hustlin. I agree with you about bringing back the excitement to the sneaker culture. I’m confident it’ll come back once the dust settles post-reselling and all the Timmy’s. 2025 is looking dope with lots of dope Jordan/Nikes. Keep the content coming brother.
2025 will be the final collapse bud
i think part of what killed the resale market is when the luxury brands start making sneakers why spend a 1000 on some nikes that you've gotta be a hype beast to know that they are "worth" that when a person can get some LV shoes that people know cost that much
Time to turn the page.
getting a job lol
This video made me so happy ❤

Idgaf if travis scott wore them and signed em, they not worth anything above retail.
Nike knows what theyre doing. They gonna stop releasing for a good while
I used to flip on the side for fun and to help pay for my collection. I won a raffle for the TS Canary's and sold em for 3 times the retail price. That was the only pair I moved this year...

I think 2025 is going to bring a LOT of excitement from Nike considering everything that’s coming out
Might possibly be some resell value for certain releases but nothing too crazy
But this happens in waves. Sometimes Nike has a lot of hype and sometimes it’s another brand
nope 2025 when jordan 4 white cements are going under retail you will know for sure the gigs up
@@heybudstfunow Yeaa we gotta see but that’s a great indicator for sure
If the bred 1 85s don’t go crazy or the sb 4s that’s definitely a sign that resell is dead
@@heybudstfunow it also depends on Nike
How many pairs will they produce for certain pairs whether og or reimagined or new hype ?
That can play a role too
Let’s say they only make 200,000 or less cement 4 OGs and don’t do any restocks…that pair will definitely resell for more versus if Nike makes 1 million pairs like the military blue 4s which always said if Nike made less pairs of those everybody would talk about them every day
@@GodSovereigntyX nike is milking EVERY pair brother. specifically jordan brand is actually doing great so they have no reason to cut back production at all. trust me the jordan 4 white cements will be same price range as military blue 4s bro
@@GodSovereigntyX bred 1 85s will be around retail. sb 4s will hit tho that ll be one of the few shoes to have resell value. highly doubt sb 4s tank but if they do it probably means america is in a civil war lol

@@michaeljames4630bro definitely didn’t hear him say no one is interested in the OG colorways anymore 😂 nobody has the money to be blowing 2 months of rent on some reimagined Jordan’s
We didn't do it, nike did. Raised prices and flooded the market. Glad they back to making more shoes than needed
Imma sneaker head from 70s 80s i njoy wearing them to have a fresh pair sneakers on feels good that's the sneaker culture not resales and comparing them n how it looked 30 yrs ago just rock them n learn the history of them that's sneaker culture
Definitely agree with you on putting the Jordan 1's in the vault for a while.
Once inflation and everything goes down.. resale might make a comeback..but only time will tell..sneakers are not really a priority as of now because of the times we live in
1:39 I remember this era. The Offwhite Sean Wotherspoon era... my size 9 were expensive
Resellers fucked the game up. The experience and enjoyment of buying a sneaker is gone. Folks going for comfort over hype nowadays anyway and have tons of options for that.
Thank god!
Real sneaker fans stand up!!!!!! Resellers RIP.
Im happy now we fr gon see the real sneaker heads n not just resellers
The market isn't dead until the hype sneakers are going for retail or under.
Brad Hall used to post😂
Now resell and sneakers are down... its been a year since he posted. Some people only came here because they saw it trending. Ive been buying shoes and keeping em. My collection dont lie. You look behind this guy. All shoes from the last 6 years. That KILLED the game. Too much Nike/Jordan bias.
The game will be crazy the next wave cause diversity and how its actually being worn will matter.
People still love sneakers, we ain't missing that. People don't love the ridiculous overhyped prices, that's pretty much it.
During pandemic it was a bubble and it popped. Consumer spending is at all time low just wait when credit defaults start happening. Eventually in 2 years market will start increasing once they start printing more cash!
if they start printing money then inflation will go up which means nike will also raise their prices
I been thinking that social media kind of built the market and then destroyed it. How are shoe stores doing these days?
i own 3 i'm no cool kicks but we re making it... just had to adjust a few things and fire all the bums
I ran a very large warehouse. My guys were always on about their "kicks." One guy knew the name of every manager of every shoe store in our city of 90 thousand. It was insane. $500 shoes were COMMON.
As an OG sneakerhead, I love the down market. I can walk into a store and purchase sneakers for myself and my children for under retail.
I’m glad! I hate over priced resellers.
Who buys shoe's for over $250, come on. It's like paying 80k for a pokemon card ! Invest in property man
im a mens size 8 / 8.5 so im honestly glad resell is dead for the most part in my size i like being able to buy sneakers without paying ridicolous prices
We still love sneakers jmk we just got tired of not being able to cop at retail

I’m back to work 😂
in 12-18 months it will officially collapse . it will be back by the end of trumps last term
I’m not going to act like I’m not over here smirking here because the resellers are doing bad right now. It’s actually hilarious. Y’all thought it would last forever lololol. I guess this is get back for making it so hard to cop kicks from 2020-2022.
Nike did not kill nothing they are doing better than ever they just got people like you out of the way they don't need nobody making money of their products now people that really love sneakers can get them now real sneakerhead can get the shoes you not a real sneakerhead you just another business man at least you the first one accepting that got to get a real job.
Nike is not doing better. Nike saw declines in direct revenue this year.Look at their financial results. That is why their stock plummeted 31% in the first half of this year.
@kevinmorrell9207 yeah that's nothing they still wayyy ahead of every company out there every company out there is going through the same the economy is going through the same this whole country is going through the same but all you guys talking is about jordan jajaja go to any store and look around and what do you see? Jordans and nike they are running the show and all you resellers say they are sitting and no they are not they may taking a little longer to sale cus the economy but they are still going out the door and belive it or not that's exactly what nike and jordan wants take out the way all the resellers and that's why all you guys are mad for
All the hyped up prices made no sence to me in the first place..
Let me share with you the real reason why the resell market is dead. The Fed raised the interest rates from 0% to 4% plus, in order to conbat inflation. That made borrowing capital expensive and also incentives leaving your money in interest bearing savings accounts instead of flipping sneakers in order to not lose money due to inflation when interest rates were at 0%. This is why resell was a thing even before the Pandemic, which affected the supply and demand balance, thereby pushing resell prices through the roof. So PRO-TIP: If interest rates ever go back to 0... then start buying up sneakers because resell will come back with a bang!
