Had an 88 S10 with a 2.8, 5 spd and 4x4. It never got good mileage but if you could fit whatever in the box it would haul it. They do have a very nice square look to them. Thanks for sharing.
I wanted one of these from the first time this kit came out in 1993. Gotta make good on it now! I remember around that time Motor Trend featured a 1:1 S10 with a Corvette ZR1 engine in it. Now that was a real street sleeper!
That GM 4.3 L engine is the 350 block with the two back cylinders cut off of it. But they were pretty good engines, had plenty of torque. Looks good Doug! Take care buddy!
Could you please put the link as to where I could buy this model at ? Usually I look in the description and there would be a link to what hobby shop you got this model from but it’s not there. I still have a 87 Chevy S-10 that is in great shape with a small block 350 in it and I would like to build a model of it.I’m 41 and I’ve been building models since I was 10. Don’t get much time to work on them anymore but recently my 9 year old daughter which loves working on my little S-10 and loves going out with me on nights I take it to the local street races here in Philly. She’s been digging in some of my old models and she wants to start building them as well so we agreed to get one of our truck to build a look a like. Lol, never thought my little girl that’s into everything pink and girly stuff would slowly get into street cars and find a love for it so much. Anyways if you could link were I could get this model I’d appreciate it. Thank you

Very nice kit,but hard to get overhere in Europe. The same as the round 2 models. But finaly layed my hands on a 66 fairlane kit from AMT this week. Cannot wait untill it arrives. And i am subscibed already a while. Enjoy your easy to understand explanations to bring the build to a good end. BTW does somebody know a reliable web-shop in the USA that ships to Europe and has a good access to the most 30-80,s models?? Thanks in advance for the info

But i am sure after i have taken a look at the 2 web pages you have given me,a big part of my holiday bonus can be transferred straight to them. @@bronco892 I know, every couple of years I get back into model building and would buy a kit here and there so I see the prices go up but I mostly am working on kits that are decades old from my stash.
