I use and love, love, love the body scrub, body wash, body oil, collagen body lotion, collagen night cream, and hyaluronic sea serum. These products have made my skin so moisturized and glowy and I love the subtle scent!
I have been using the osea mud cleanser and blemish moisturizer for a few years and absolutely love it for my combo oily skin. The scent to me is phenomenal and refreshing. It’s so light too and goes a long way.all eye cremes burn my eyes so I haven’t tried it. The Mud cleanser is awesome too if you like that peppermint like refreshing clean sure that makes your face feel cleansed but agree these will not work well on dry skin. I just tried the body oil for the first time and absolutely love it alon with the hydrating mist. I will be purchasing the body oil again.
I am wary of essential oils, my skin is too reactive for me to want to try most products, because it takes time to repair my skin’s moisture barrier. Add in that one of my husband’s asthma triggers is strong scents, whether natural or not, and I shy away from essential oils and strong fragrances. Thank you for the information about The Ordinary’s Marine Hyaluronics combined with their Hyaluronic Acid. I had not understood the first product and have never tried it, but I probably will try it now.
So, the product I got in the Allure Beauty Box a couple of months ago (???) is the Essential Hydrating Oil, which says it's a facial oil. It has eight Essential oils, the Box proudly proclaims. I just opened it up after watching this and put a drop on the back of my hand. Thoughts: lovely texture, cosmetically elegant, and VERY scented. It reminds me a bit of the elemis cleansing balm? Not exactly but it must have some of the same components. I absolutely could NOT use this at night; I'd not be able to sleep or breathe. I might not be able to use it on my face and neck at all, even if it doesn't break me out, as I have asthma and headache problems sometimes with essential oils. It's lovely! But maybe I'll use it on my body first, if I pass the patch test.
Oh yeah that’s a good comparison! The blemish balm has a similar strength to it as the Elemis cleansing balm (although a completely different smell and actually…it still might be stronger!!)
Use the oil as a perfume rollerball. Also I think its intended purpose is less about covering the face and maybe being more of a spot corrector? But either way just put it on your wrist and call it a day.
I have the Osea Essential Hydrating Oil as well and it's been great for me. I just use one small pump, pat all over my face before moisturizer. It is very, very moisturizing.
@@andie1508 I will give it a try because my skin is sooo dry. So far the patch test has been good. If it doesn't work for my breathing I should mail it to you!
I Iove the sustainability from this brand but I hate the essential oils lol- I do plan to try their body care and that hylauronic serum though! Thanks for the review, and I hope your skin is feeling better
I had the worst reaction to the cleanser, it was a bummer because I liked the scent. I’m not even sensitive normally but wow, I used it up on my body and never tried anything else from the brand.
I love the blemish control for the scent and the refreshing feeling it gives like the mud cleanser. I have oily skin tho and it’s the only moisturizer that doesn’t feel greasy so is the only moisturizer I have used for the last several years.
Alice! I have to shout out the anti-aging serum for you! It’s essential oil free and simple, like the hyaluronic serum. Has vit c (derivative), peptides and turmeric. I think you may like it, and I’d love to hear what you think. I’m on my second bottle! I also really really love the milk cleanser as my morning cleanse. I’ve tried many milk cleansers, and it’s by far my favorite. Leaves supple skin, I feel like it’s oily enough to cleanse my nose & pores, but no residue. I hate the price, but it’s by far the best milky cleanser I’ve tried. I am *obsessed* with the body balm! I try to tell everyone about it. The price is also awful, but it is the most effective smoothing/softening body product I’ve ever used. I like to cocktail it with other lotions to help stretch it further!
I absolutely agree it can be the combination of products. I am going to read more about this mist. It is just holding a space at this point. Have a great weekend ❌️ ⭕️
I bought and returned the body oil. The fragrance is unreal, why would they make their products SO strongly fragranced? I loved the feel but couldn't take the scent, it doesn't really fade. My husband said it gave him flashbacks to being in the barracks as a new soldier cleaning the whole place with pinesol. 😬 edit to add I typically really enjoy fragranced products but this one was overboard. same with the facial oil that was in an allure beauty box, it choked me up a bit and I had to rinse off.
I guessed this one would go this way😔😣 I'm not anti fragrance it even anti EO but I do feel they are so risky many times. Especially the combo of so many. Like you said, the problem with these fragrant ingredients is that the issues and reaction may not happen right away. The cleanser burned my skin😩 but I am so curious about the body oil it's been on my list. The HA facial C serum sounds nice too! I'm sorry so many of these didn't work for you.
It’s a risk indeed! Sometimes it works out (the pure lotus essence I talked about before is a good example), and sometimes - it doesn’t. It’s interesting though: I do notice the reactions happen more frequently with intense smelling products. Perhaps it’s not just about fragrance/EO, but the quantity of those ingredients in products? 🤔
@@AliceintheRabbitHole Ahhh interesting thought, that absolutely makes sense though. Making it even harder to figure out wth you're actually reacting to 🤣

Called it on the blemish balm... the essential corrective complex oil is worse and have used the 2 I got in boxes as scented rollerball (calming to. I do have to say I have a very different experience with the ocean cleanser, BUT I find it to be a fairly potent exfoliating cleanser. I love it and wish there was an exact dupe without exfoliation, but I wouldn't use it on back to back days. My guess is this may have caused some of the drying effect. Love the body balm, though feel using both the balm and the oil simultaneously is a bit too strong scent wise.
Ooof that sounds painful! It’s almost funny how much love TTO gets: it’s still an essential oil, but I feel like it’s often treated like….it’s not? So odd haha
In the Hyaluronic serum it has 2 not 3 molecular weights in the formula. It's okay but 3 is better! for this price. People use Hya and don't realize 2 or more molecular weights are best! And absolutely cover skin after or the air will dry out your skins moisture and people..many don't know this?!. Cover face with a few serums and a moisturizer is a must when wearing any Hya! I feel like I HAVE to try out their algae face cleanser, but curious about your thoughts. Thank you. And i deal with watery eyes from allergies, it does give you discoloration, and I'm super anal about anything getting close to my eye area since i do not need my eyes watering more... Oh my goodness yes!! I tried them SO long ago! The products are nice, but I will note: I didn’t see tremendous “results” after finishing them (which took ages as they are huge haha). However, they do pair nicely with other products. By the end, I had taken to layering one of their serums over my BHA, and that ended up being a great way to use them. So summary: I think the price is low because they feel a bit more diluted - BUT that can certainly have a place in a routine. Hope that helps!
