Teaching yourself how to do something is a success but it's not the same as inventing that thing. And Jayce did not have a whole theory behind this, he saw somebody use it once. He knew it was possible and that's about it.

I think fishbones is meant to seem like a joke, but it really represents Jinx’s desires for normalcy in her life that she knows she’ll never achieve From her perspective, Jinx is a death machine. She kills everyone around her. Silco saw some of her potential for extreme destruction and malicious callousness, but he looked past it since she’s especially useful to someone like him and he knew he could keep her in check to prevent any sort of complete collapse. He’s gone though, leaving behind someone whose spent their entire life creating explosions and admiring the damage they could do to the world around them. Likewise, I’d say her destructive tendencies are a coping mechanism on their own. If we think about it, she’s constantly consumed by guilt manifesting in the shape of the voices and hallucinations that inhabit her mind. I’d argue destroying her surroundings is almost an attempt at either destroying those voices or creating disasters whose sounds can drown out the ones in her head.

Oh wow, game Jinx is really a lot of fun! This actor did a really great job, and I also think that Purnell did a really good job of re-creating her for the Arcane show. There was a lot of great moments in this, but as someone who is slightly crazy themselves, I really appreciated this quite creepy 20 seconds long laugh around the 3:08 mark. I'm imagining the sound guys starting to get a bit nervous with this woman in the booth who we're not really sure if she's acting anymore.
