Yeah, it looks like under the hood, it's an old analogue electro-mechanical computer. Not what we associate the word "computer" with these days, but it still technically fits.

When you set the MPC to bomb, it should electrically cage the reticle , but it doesn't. Set sight function selector to bomb. This will cage it and prevent reticle dance on the dive..

I don't know if you will find this interesting or not, but my dad flew the F-86H as a fighter-bomber. Some years ago I discovered a lost roll of gun camera film shot during his training at Nellis in August 1954. The film was in very poor condition and was actually a negative, but I was able to invert it, and capture it to a video. I believe there may be some footage of this bombing method in the video although the gun camera only captures the moment of release. It's grainy and hard to really see, but the portion of the video in question starts here: th-cam.com/video/yG7Ke0Gtnxk/w-d-xo.html
Again, don't expect much...the film was not stored properly and was over 40 years old when I found it...

The problem with today’s instructional videos is theres too much blah blah blah. No one skips right to the point. If the video is ten minutes long there is only 2-3 minutes of actual instruction.
