Alright so... heres the best way I can talk about counter dice. So let's say one of your librarians uses Sharp nails (Emma's combat page). It has a counter dice in the form of a pierce counter. It is the only page you used and you are getting targeted by 2 guests. All of the red dice get used protecting against one of the two guests but you don't have anything to protect against the second person. This is where that Golden dice comes in, it acts as a defence for one sided attacks like this. The way it works is simple enough. Until either it is defeated or the attack that it is countering fails, it will keep recycling until it's vanish conditions are triggered.
I actually already have a Smoke guide, though it is missing a couple of passives and cards since it was made before a certain general invite got released. Card draw and light regen options expand as you play the game more, but just in general it's a good idea to have at least 2 of each in your deck at all times. The cool thing about discard is that card draw either doesn't matter or is way easier than every setup except for singleton.
I also ended up making quite a solid burning flash deck, with the discard passive and some draw you could cycle into burning flash every turn or every other turn, its a very interesting strat.
I don't really consider Burning Flash setups to be discard, per-se. I consider them to mostly be for Singular Strike decks, and I agree that they are quite powerful.
Thank you for making these man. I didn't know about this game till the gamepass release, but man, has it been a trip. Sakura does have the niche use of getting guaranteed emotion points when its effect activates, but I do think it needs a buff. Having it boost the evade die would be nice. Come to think of it, Suspicious Contract _also_ has a higher emotion point profit on average than Insurance Coverage. Maybe weaker overall, but it _might_ have a use?
The problem with Suspicious Contract (and why I don't talk about it at all) is because you get it and can use it for the final boss *only*. On top of that, it serves the same purpose as a page you get earlier which has better use in combat.
If sakura discards 4+ you basically will have atleast 3 emotion coins . Does this makes it viable ? No ... but can be good with emotion coin builds ( Prob on Lowel with single point stabs )
Im curious is Roland a playable character through most of the game? I just really like his design and I know he gets a cool move set later in the game.
I want to say that you are wrong. Margin is the best choise for discarding, if you using less than 3 switchhero or another draw. If you add this passive to your Irina's page, remove switchhero completely, add Final Stroke and Impugnatio Ultima, change one flip the table on Insurance Coverage. You will get 3 cards draw and 3 lights per turn minimum, u could spam final stroke every turn, on high lvl emotion u can use it twice. Margin is broken af, but u need to learn h2p with this deck.
My counter to this is that you can only have a maximumof 2 pages in hand if Margin triggers (without the use of Brace Up) and also you can't use Final Stroke to its full capabilities since you aren't discarding anything with it. Plus, you're relying on RNG to have your good pages in hand in the first place. That and I consider having a full hand to be a far better boon than +1 Strength in the long run. There is a reason everyone runs Singleton decks after all, and it isn't for the power gain.
@@kaskozhuk4158 singleton is the bad answer, cause this is the most broken type of deck in the game. And with my deck u have about 10 or less percent to take bad cards. These decks are fine, but I hope PM removes full light restore system after emotion level rises entirely so users can realize how tight their deck's light management really is. Most decks people build are too unstable even for those who doesn't rely on RNG all the time like discard decks does.
Not entirely sure what you mean about the light restoration, but Discard has one of the lowest amount of randomness when built properly, since you draw 4 cards every turn instead of 1 or 2 with usual decks.
