Absolutely the best ANC. It's not hype, these buds really quash outside noise!
Call quality isn't important to me...or to BOSE apparently :-) You need something else if calls are high priority.
I was holding back on these because internet rumours say they don't react well to wind noise, and I use buds outside in windy conditions. Turns out, that's not a problem. I expect the people having problems don't get a good fit and wind noise slips in and confuses the feedbackward mic.
Get them while they're available on the cheap - as recommended in the video.
(Other ANC I have tried/owned: Final, Sennheiser, Denon, JBL and Creative.)
