It's quarantine time and I am rewatching L&C and remembering wee me being so in love with them and I can see why! What a beautiful show, what a dynamic! I loved this show as a kid I grew up very religious and couldn't watch many shows lol, but this was one of the shows we could watch from a very short approved list.

I just finished binge watching the first 2 seasons. I hadn't watched L&C since I was a teenager when it first aired. I have fallen for Dean all over again!!! He will always be my favourite Superman!!!
I keep tweeting him hinting nows literally the time to be pushing for season 5 to me. They have made a new, new adventures but its young actors. But no matter how many other ones there is non bar dc comics that ive seen anyway have hit upon them in older age with kids. It would be different to anything else out! Their chemistry is still there they look flipping amazing for their ages so to me its perfect timing

If they didn’t want fans commenting on their posts etc, then they wouldn’t post them for fans to see and wouldn’t interact with fans as they do!. Same goes for all other celebs who have social media and interact with fans. Both said they like going to comic cons and hearing fans stories of what they and their show meant etc.

Domino H I have never asked Dean and Teri about their relationship and there is no way I’d go up to them and ask them if they’re a couple or getting together. When I spoke to them I just spoke to them like any other person!. I’m 37 this year, not 13/14 anymore!. I saw Dean in the Beatles story cafe on the Friday before Comic Con last weekend, and I didn’t scream and jump on him like some crazy teenager, just spoke with him and got some photos/video clip!. I totally respect them both. I was going to upload the full q&a’s from both Saturday and Sunday and other videos too, now I’m Wondering if it’s a good idea! Will I get attacked by people who are likely jealous or bitter and send me nasty comments. :(
This is the different between all superman shows. He doesn't judge the show which made him famous. As far as I know, George Reeves did it but I guess it was the wrong time to have a good balance between 50's Sups and in the way Dean did it .
If anybody have read the book; A Turn in the Road by Debbie Macomber. Dean Cain is Max, Teri hatcher is Bethanne. Read this book and you'll see these two fit those characters in that book.
I’m sick of the predictable darkness of the DC and Marvel worlds. It’s like a forced edginess where producers are trying desperately to appeal to the same cookie-cutter fans instead of taking a risk and actually creating art. What I like best about this show is the fact that they created a world in which lightness, sweetness, and love prevail. Yes, they tried to slip a bit of the women’s lib political angle in, but that was totally overshadowed by the convincing chemistry in the depiction of Lois and Clark’s relationship. If they want to start something successful again, they need to do three things: stay away from politics, retain the same lightness (it doesn’t have to be teenybopperish just because it portrays a life-affirming philosophy), and don’t pretend the characters are the same Lois and Clark from the 90’s. They have aged. Superman has as well because of season 4, episode 5. Your audience wants an hour-long escape; we do not want to be surrounded by the same garbage we see all day in the news. Except the government cover-up of the presence of aliens... Lol. Definitely use that!
Dean Cain, fine actor in other parts, a nice guy, but, totally wrong for Superman, in fact, he was by far one of the worst in my own personal opinion. For me, Christopher Reeve was the only actor who suited the role. The others didn't have it, certainly not Dean Cain, Christopher Reeve is regarded as the most definitive , he certainly had 'the look' .
When you say 'suited the role' what exactly do you mean because Christopher REDEFINED the role of 'Superman' as we know it today with his portrayal but his predecessor & the ORIGINAL TV Superman: George Reeves played a much more 'Macho, typical male stereotype' version of Superman. And he looked NOTHING like the comic version! What defines the look to you because physically, to me, only Tom Welling had the chest span (and still does!) of the comic version of 'Superman' & the more 'chisled' look. If you mean Dean's face is 'softer' and not 'CHISLED'... *your right* but I think that's because he was supposed to really introduce the 'Clark' persona to us hence they didn't WANT him to look like a 'Clone' of anyone and they didn't want the audience to concentrate on his Superman persona. *How does one make time to have a life if your SUPERMAN?* Brandon Routh followed the 'Chris Reeves' archetype but Dean's version, just as with Tom Welling's version, were really about CLARK not Superman. Lois & Clark focused on that relationship (as per the comics) while Tom got to 'define' the SO-CALLED Superboy angle, basically defining CLARK as a kid (teen)... again! And storylines, characters & events from Lois & Clark ended up in Smallville, albeit with the Network's own 'twist'. Although many probably came from the comics themselves. But even their attitudes were the same: Clark is who I am; Superman is what I can do! If Christopher Reeves is the ONLY one who can play SUPERMAN, we are all in trouble because that brother's dead. I personally wouldn't want any of my favorite characters to go away just because the actor does. Or, like Welling, they decide they don't want to reprise or continue to play the role. By the by, I loved 'Lois & Clark', lol!
@Michael Edwards I absolutely agree with you when you say Reeve looked like the one in the comic, he was the only one who had that likeness, Cain and all the others didn't have that at all, but it wasn't just the look Reeve had, it was his performance, with John Williams excellent score added to it, leaves all the others cold and makes them look like their wannabe's going to comic con.
Because dean focused as was correct on making clark the character with all the main appeal. It was lois and clark - the title for a reason. Superman was meant to be a little more 2d in the show so we focused on lois and clarks life. Superman was kinda the back story. Its the only time supermans been done that way and Dean got that perfect in my view

The show was about the romance so dean and Teri were perfect.
He never bothered to change his voice, etc between Clark and Superman. Lazy acting
