You are probably only one in moment other than the creator that is showing how to do it in DEPTH that what it is. Love the series how 😊tou do more deep drive!
Thanks for the comment - I really appreciate it! If there's any other questions or anything else you want to know about the PARA System or Building A Second Brain, let me know! 😀
How do you deal with multiple Areas that are all related? Tiago appears to use prefixes in the folder names, like "FL" for all his Forte Labs areas, etc.. What about breaking down Finance into different sub-areas, like checking/savings, investments, insurance, etc. and breaking down Health sub-areas, like diet/food log, exercise, Dr. A, Dr. B, test results, etc.? Right now I use another level of hierarchy depth for these, but I'm trying to learn the "pure" PARA approach and it seems like there's only one level of hierarchy/folders/break-down within each of the 4 main categories. Any experience/suggestions?
Thanks for the question and sorry for the delay in getting back to you! From my own point of view, I think the PARA method is a starting point for your organisation and I think that when it comes to Areas and Resources, there is a need to break these down a bit more into sub-areas as you suggested. For example, health is a massive area so to have everything contained together might not be best practice. Instead, it makes sense to divide this up into diet, exercise, habits, etc. As with everything, I think finding the right balance that suits your own needs and workflows is best so my honest advice is to use whatever feels comfortable to you! Hope that helps a little bit! 🙂
Thanks very much for the comment! Yep I only use Google Drive to store information in my PARA System. I just find it has everything I need but I am always open to trying new apps and software!
