This week, I built something I’ve been thinking of doing for a while. I played the game The Force Unleashed a ton when it came out 10+ years ago, and I always loved the boss battles. There were two or three different finishing moves at the end of the AT-ST mini boss fights, and my favorite was when Starkiller jumped up and sliced the walker in half. This scene was inspired by that sequence from the game, but I adapted it to feature Luke as the Jedi doing the slicing. ‘Cause let’s be real, Luke is the best.
I designed Luke in Hero Forge and built his lightsaber in Shapr3D.

Your little explanation of how Luke managed to cut the AT-ST realistically honestly made me love this video all the more!! Brilliant, imaginative idea as always - you're a genius.
"I should have planned that better before I started cutting..." Thank god incredible artists such as yourself let us in on the human side of things. I'm sitting there thinking that you know exactly what you're doing every step of the way and that the turret flying away was part of your master plan.
I was thinking about the same...
"Oh, is he trying to simulate the damage naturally by letting those loose parts fly away on their own when cutting the hull? So clever!"
you could paint the glow that hot metal(the cross section) with fluorescent red and hide an UV led in each shell sides, it would make it even more fantastic.
Came here to post this.
Questioning the realistic-ness of Luke going through an AT-ST in one slice would be a nice debate for Star Wars fans. But I think if you just say, "because he's Luke Skywalker", many fans would accept that. ;-)
It's luke, he is one of the best jedi ever, unlike Marey sue.
Starkiller from the Force Unleashed games did something like that a few times
He cut the back or front of it when he jumped up and then again when he landed resulting in cutting it in two
well, if he tried.
In the books, luke made his lightsaber with the ability to extend it out a lot further
@@schmorb Darth Vader can also extend the length of his red lightsaber.
Fantastic idea and execution.
I just missed the two at-st pilots, I would have liked one with an expression of terror and the other seeing Luke from the inside.
That would be perfection.
When I saw the thumb, I thought, "this had better have a perfectly recreated version of Luke's saber, but super tiny!" Glorious.
Father North.
yoooo north recongize me pls, love ur vids.
This is so cool! The terrain is so simple but looks so good. It was really relaxing to watch. Love that you completely detailed Luke's lightsaber!
Maaan, I'm sooo happy you did a force unleashed inspired diorama! It was one of my absolute FAVORITE star wars games growing up, I still play it from time to time, I think it still holds up. You captured the vibe so well 🤌🤌✨
Great work
made my day. thank you.
I have a crush on you-
oh, nice
man of culture
I have watched so many of your videos and only just realised the intro spells ‘boylei’ 😂😂
Amazing work as per usual too!
bruhhh
Same here!!! LOL!
......I never noticed until you said something. 😳
Amazing !!!
The drivers of that AT-ST are going to be in Imperial therapy for the next ten trilogies. ;P
Galen Marek (Starkiller) : Wait, that's my move!
Love seeing Luke at full power!
This isn't even his final form!
His final form he drinks furry midget milk
Fantastic, as always. I'm blown away by not just the skill you show on the model itself, but by your ingenuity creating additional tools such as the circle cutting jig. You have mastered many disciplines, bravo.
What if you'd use a luminsecent paint on the cut lines?
This!
That would be awesome
Was thinking the same, also maybe some weathering/dirt on the outside
An some melted slag, dropping to the floor.
How about two troppers inside checking to see if they have all their limbs.
AT-ST driver: "Do you hear something?"
In the distance, muffled sounds of "Rules of Nature" grow louder.
If that orange paint is UV reactive, you could put a UV LED in each half of the walker and it would glow?
I've been watching your channel for a while now. ( years ), and this is one of my favorites. Your skills have improved tremendously since this. Maybe it's time to revisit this. Thank you for all your content.
You have a great imagination and the ability to turn your visions into reality! Another great build!
Nice clean cut Luke! Good job
Yea Luke’s been playing force unleashed lmao. Very nice man
Wow! Thank you for making my Sunday cooler! In my opinion I liked the detail on the ground and rocks because it is very realistic. I can’t wait for future projects.
Amazing work! You should do one of Captain Fordo from the Clone Wars shooting his pistol and rifle. I think that would look awesome. Love watching every week!
This is crazy. Great job man keep it up.
He made multiple passes? Okay, Luke must have learned form IV from Yoda.
Cutting the foam with the hot wire looks so satisfying
He'd need a extra long lightsaber to actually do it tho, unless he has the time it takes to cut a pumpkin with a regular steak knife
When I saw the thumb, I thought, "this had better have a perfectly recreated version of Luke's saber, but super tiny!" Glorious.
I never pictured Luke Skywalker as this big badass action hero but I gotta admit this is a really cool image lol nice job
How Rian Johnson thinks the fans wanna see Luke: A hermit who's lost all hope and is hiding in fear.
How the fans ACTUALLY wanna see Luke:
This is fantastic man. Well done!
Come on, I say Luke did it in one shot, he is THAT good. Maybe you should use Corran Horn (Expanded Universe version), he had a light saber with two crystals that could telescope out to the size of a claymore at least. Also, awesome work.
Luke and Vader can extend their lightsabers.
Awesome detailing - thanks for sharing! Love the custom work you put in to this.
Miniature Hobbyist has been doing a lot of work with sculpting his left over sprues from various kits on his channel. He melts it into a slurry that he then sculpts into things like terrain. Might be worth checking out. Punished Props has also been been using the slurry to reinforce their props.
Also, painting the molten glow on the model is what James Cameron did in Terminator 2 when Arnold appears.
Incredible as always!
Sorry for the long wait....That is truly AWSOME!!!!WOW!!! Do so enjoy Sunday mornings newest upload thanx bub.
I had to watch! Thanks for building this.
This is one of the coolest things I have ever seen
Well, that's one way to show off the detail inside this kit. Great imagination + great build skills = art.
Oh no! I had an idea to do this but you beat me to it. And way better than I could do. Love your stuff. Subbed!
Might be best one yet! Stunning!
Fantastic :) hero forge is definitely a cool sight. I saw jazza make a figure and raised the height to the "huge" side since the hands and head stays the same so you'd get more realistic proportions and then downsized the 3d model after he bought it to be the scale he needed. Definitely something I'll have to try. 🤔 your dioramas are always so inspiring, keep it up:)
Second scenario is so much more realistic, youre totally right!
That’s awesome ! The glowing light saber sells it !
NUMBER 1 in like, in comment and in view
Badass as always great work dude.
Awesome work man! Really really nice.
Awesome work man, really beautiful
Truly amazing work! I admire your filiment and resin skills.
That shot from behind the AT-ST at the end is *kisses fingers like an Italian*
incredible work as always
Great work, enjoy watching you make it.
Excellent craftsmanship, sir.
Wow! Can I just say wow! I have never played The force unleashed, but this diorama is so realistic. Luke looks great and the painting is awesome. This deserves a standing O.
Excellent work!! Stunning!
One of my favorites of your builds so far. Great work!
This is so cool. I love your work!
Awesome work! Really decent result, appreciate the video man
Luke slicing AT-ST in half while Rules of Nature blasting in the background
Brother! Glad to see you back in my feed again! Love this per usual. Force Unleashed baby!
Brilliant 👍🏻 ATSTs are such a classic design
No he 100% sliced that AT-ST in one slash. It's Luke Effin' Skywalker! You did a fantastic job! I do hope you come back and try to make the inside glow, that would be phenomenal!
Great creativity, eye for detail and craftiness. Job well done!
Dude I know bugger all about 3D modelling but that Lightsaber was awesome. I'm jealous!
Finally 🙏... Again excelent work... Looking forward for another one
I know the finishing is amazing, but dude... it hurt my eyes watching that ATST being split in half hahaha. Keep it up!!! Very nice vids.
Flawless. Expertly done.
WOW extremely impressive, this is my first video of yours, so i have liked and subed, cant wait to watch the other ones, very very well done.
Nice work. I can tell there was a real passion here. End result looks great.
Bravo. Great work as always.
Ingenuity at a very high level! Great idea - awesome execution 👍🏻
Wow! That is rad af man! Great work! Those LED rods are really game changers.
Oh! I just realized you're getting the LED filaments directly now instead of breaking down an "Edison" bulb! That's so neat! I really want to find a 150mm long variety for my Obi Wan Sideshow statue.
WOW MAN!
This model is just awe... wait for it... some!
would be hard to find a place to give it the spotlight what it desires.
Well well done, would buy it 10/10!
Well done! What a great turn out.
An electroluminescent sheet cut to a stencil of the inside of the body could work to make a featureless glowing edge! I bet that eiuld work really well!
I had to fight my way through a horde of advertising to get to this video. But now I'm here and it was worth it.
To obtain that glowing effect from the cut you could lightly over spray your orange color over the edges and on the pilot inside, then use white on the cut edge then airbrush a light coat of the orange over the cut edge again. Still looks awesome though. Great Job
Amazing video , been watching for a while and all videos have been amazing 👍
That is so cool! I would have had the lower/last part of the cut glowing somehow...
Oh that was a smart work around to just paint the inside!
Amazing as always.
Shoulda just said Luke had a Kaiber crystal 😂 Awesome job, looks amazing!
Congrats on a million views on this one
This turned out really nice. God job hiding the wires. One thought I had about that... if there was more brush/grass in the diorama, the brush/grass could been more around him and right up to and next to his right hand, with the wire running straight down through in the brush/grass.
Awesome idea, came out great!
Him- *cuts in half* Nose Gun- “Understandable, have a great day.”
Somehow you out do your self week in week out. Amazing stuff.
The idea of cutting the walker in half is basically extending the lightsaber blade temporarily by using the Force, hence Unleashed.
every of your diorama's are absolutly stunning :)
Awesome! Love the simplicity 👌
My favorite one yet, well done!
really cool night light. genius idea.
The 3D drawing work was impeccable!
I approve of this, because this is something I would do in my Jedi Master awesomeness. Very amazing job, young Padawan. If you added some pilots inside with faces of horror, that would've been epic.
Great work again!
Yeah, this is very cool. Maybe fluorescent paint would get the glow you want? Mount UV LEDs inside each half to shine on the other side to hide the effect.
Dude this was awesome
Mate. Your channel is so inspirational. It makes me wanna do more creative stuff.
