About Lorcana competition, I work at GameStop and our pokemon goes (Relatively) steadily. We have been getting in Lorcana and it just doesnt go, there is so much overstock on it, no one wants it, theres drawers and drawers of it going no where.
Anecdotal, I know stores that just can’t keep Lorcana in stock, but Pokémon sits on the shelves
I think It’s because it’s way cheaper online. 6.99 for a lorcana pack at GameStop when I can get a booster box for $100 on eBay making it $4.50 a pack? I love ripping it but pass up on them at GameStop many times now for this reason

I still think pokemon 151 japanese version is the best thing scarlet & violet will have and i dont think charizard is the center of that but theres zapdos, alakazam, blastoise and still the master cards, too many bangers.

Agreed, Pokémon needs to step up their game; S&V has been lack luster so far. Pokémon has been waay over printing and there will be a Pokemon sell off coming soon. I do think the other TCG competitors (i.e Lorcana, One Piece) will actually help Pokémon in the long run, because they will incentivize folks to stay in the TCG space and will invite new folks into the hobby.

He has no emotional attachment to these cards. It's all about the dollars. Yes he thinks they are cool. But at the end of the day "cool" doesn't pay the bills. He will tell you this if you ever watch his streams.

I think you are wrong on scarlet and violet. Comparatively it is superior to sword and shield. Though it will have to bring it for the back half as that is where Sword and shield shined.
