  • How to Replace the Giubo on BMW F10 535i | Restoring Power to Your BMW F10 535i | Giubo Replacement Guide | Swapping Out the Giubo on Your BMW F10 535i
In this video we are replacing my dry rotted Giubo with a fresh new unit. Replacing the Giubo on a BMW F10 535i involves removing the old, worn-out flex disc and installing a new one. This part connects the transmission to the driveshaft, so a deteriorating Giubo can lead to drivetrain issues. In the video, you'll see the steps involved in accessing and replacing the Giubo, ensuring smoother power delivery and improved drivability.

A road force balance and the hub centric sleeves on my after market rims fixed the issue on my car also removing cheap wheel spacers. It's more then likely the wheels. I know people that changed the bushing and still had the vibration at 50-70 bent rim from the inside.

You want to fix that speed vibration? You have replaced whatever you thought it could be to no avail? You will be surprised that it's so simple of a fix it will blow your mind!
The fix is you "TYRES".... Yes, your tyres is the issue... If you have low profile tires you MUST HAVE a minimum of 40 psi of air in them, anything lower will cause vibration in certain speeds! I have a 2011 F10 535i M Sport tuned and had 20" low profile rims/tyres and always had them at 40 psi pressure and NEVER had a vibration issue wile driving, not at 70 miles, not at 90 miles not even at 120 mph speeds! 😎

Should've done both guibos instead of just the rear. If the rear has failed surely the front guibo has also failed and mostly likely the center bearing balanced support between both front and reat derive shafts has also failed hence why many still have a thumping when driving off do to the center support failure. You can test if it has failed by just pushing the frint drive shaft up a few times and if you feel it move and hear it hit (thump) then its time to replace it. These F10's come with an aluminum front guibo (flex disc) and BMW highly recommends replacing it with an all rubber one do to high failure!
Also you do not need to turn the car on to put it in Neutral position. While you are under the car just go next to the side of the transmission oil pan and you will see a screw. That needs to be screwd up as it will push a lever up and that will put the car in Neutral automatically. Once done unscrew it back to it's original position.

Replacing the front Flex Disc (guibo) that connects to the transmission on the F10 is a bioottch! Do to some big metal piece in the way of you inserting a wrench key in the real of the bolts to loosen them. 🤔
