I love that you don't comment whether your drawing is "good" or "bad" after making it. I've never heard you say, "this isnt very good" after showing something.
I think it is important for new artists to not see a teacher judge their own work, because then there isnt a natural response of "oh this doesnt look good".
Good job, Teoh. You are a helpful and good teacher.

Yesterday I was trying a sketch similar to yours (I’m finding my style, I’m a beginner), and I ran into this problem! And just like magic, here you are to help me solve this problem! I really appreciate your videos, thank you so much for taking the time and effort to upload content. I myself have a TH-cam channel, a husband, and a full time job. I know how challenging it can be to produce content all the time! So thank you so so much!

You managed to fit so much good instruction into this video! Thank you! This was very useful, as I do tend to get my spacing wrong.

I like urban sketching and of course my inspiration came from your channel " I'm not good at animals only birds and buildings" this video is very helpful on proportion. And making more room on the pages

I find a hard time with the top-down left-right with extreme perspective illustrations I usually make, so thanks for this video Teoh!

Thank you, Teoh!! I really like the you explain things. I'm having a hard time with proportions and perspective. Buildings are out of "my comfort zone", so I'm working on my drawing skills. These videos (and specially your amazing Patreon tutorials 🏆) are helping me a lot. I've been your patreon for quite long now and you never cease to amaze and inspire me. Thank you for your work!! 🤗

Teoh- this is SUCH a helpful video!! I sometimes have had trouble drawing trees with outrunning out of the page, also get so involved drawing one part of a scene and discover later that other parts of the picture are out of proportion. I didn’t find the tutorial link, but did find your courses and will do some of those! Thank you SO much. I really enjoy al l your videos.

I remember in high school drawing a person on a horse from a book front. The person was proportioned properly; the horse was proportioned property, but not at the same scale. It appeared that the person was riding a small pony. Oops!

This helped me out a lot, I kept drawing my subject with the front of the ship being way too small compared to the back (looking front on) So it looked like the back was way too big from the perspective.

I think this is one of my favorites of your videos. I first watched and then did the sketches along with you and it helped a lot. I especially like how you explain your thought process.
I also love the flow of your ink. I'm using a Lamy F and the ink doesn't flow like that. I am considering getting a Lamy Medium.

Just what I needed! Very helpful. I always want to draw things exactly to scale from a reference photo, but sometimes that’s just too big. This helps with learning how to size the subject down.

Very Helpful. I start the drawing too big because I take it as something isolated and add things that are also isolated. In the end, I can't fit everything on the page.
