When I found out about Andrew's death through the news, my little world collapsed. Didn't think his death would affect me like that, especially since I never met him. I've been a fan of Depèche Mode since I was 12 and Andrew was the constant, co-founder, mediator in this band. He always deliberately put himself aside, which I didn't understand, because he deserved this dignity for what he did and what he was like as a person.
R.I.P. Andrew, you are missing 😥🙏♥️
Excellent post. I've also been a huge fan of Depeche Mode since the beginning, and was lucky enough to see them in concert. Still the best I've ever seen, and I've seen many live acts around the world. Andrew was always in the background, so to speak, but always calm, also overseeing the band's accounting and finances. RIP, Andrew.

I met him during my London study experience, at his restaurant. A friend of mine , worked there. Remember him like a gently, friendly and easy going person. He sat down at our table for greet us.

Apparently Dave completely lost it at the funeral. I don’t know if he could even watch that yet it’s so (particularly the beginning focusing on fletch) emotional and powerful and also shows the whole evolution of the band.
People complain that Andy didn’t really play too much music basic synth. But he kept them together. And he managed to keep both of them alive. So yeah he was hugely important. 🙏

Достойная группа-долгожитель. Жаль безвременного ухода Энди. Практически все их песни - хиты во всех аранжировках.
Остается надежда на то, что DM продолжит свое творчество.
Честно, не думаю что они продолжат. Энди являлся важным звеном в группе, основателем так сказать. Конечно Дейв и Мартин могут кого-то взять. Вопрос только зачем? У них у всех есть деньги, они параллельно занимаются своими проектами. После выхода альбома 2017 их не видно и не слышно как группа.
