The worst part on the grapple hook gadget is that it was already done right back in Battlefield Hardline! It was an all-class gadget anyone could equip.
My biggest issue with the game is still how the guns feel/handle. I never stopped playing BF3, so I came from BF3 to 2042, and the portal guns aren’t even close to what they were. Also, bullets don’t exit guns at a 45 degree angle in real life.
@@thebigsam They don’t. Even while suppressed combined with spread, shots still fire “straight” from your reference. It might be from a slightly different point of reference within the ADS, but remaining in reference to where you’re standing, shots still travel in a straight line. Shots do NOT exit the barrel as if the barrel itself were flopping around pointing left and right of your reticle only to hit something to your 2’o’clock. It’s for this reason why in BF3 you can as a sniper, be suppressed, while you yourself are strafing left/right, and still happen to land a shot. Sorry for the ramble. Sick rn with not much else to do. 😂
@@TheQuadLaunchers nah, you good. Rant is valid. You are still wrong tho. Sniper rifles in BF3 have significantly less spread than other categories. You clearly haven't played with high-recoil high-spread gun in BF3.
literally what they did to the ACW is horrid, the ACW in older battlefields had 880rpm and laser liker recoil. in 2042 its rate of fire is almost like the AK24 and u cant beam ppl at long range unless u single or burst fire or just get lucky. The only guns that they did good was the MTAR and M416. The AEK in this game feels like it has less range and more spread than the smgs lol
While I'm not a fan of Battlebit, it's excellent competition for the space as nobody has really been able to challenge Battlefield before. Hopefully this is extra motivation.
Yeah, I'm not a fan of the art style but I love the gameplay. I'm just glad there's competition in the space. More people vying for our attention means we all win
No matter how much this game has improved over the last few years, it just fundamentally doesn't feel like a battlefield game mainly because of the specialists. Battlebit made me realize that I'm finally done with 2042 for good.
@@ProRebornthis game feels nothing like battlefield, it feels like a wanna be cod game , it’s still dogshit just because the game released as a fucking mess doesn’t mean it’s now good it just means it should of released like this and ur delusional if u think this plays , feels or even looks like battlefield 😂😂😂 dead game
It's not only the worst Battlefield game ever made, it didn't even feel like a Battlefield game, so most of the fans just left and never looked back The thing is: You never get a second chance to make a first impression... I don't know what they were thinking when they made this game. It's like they just decided to scrap that time proven battlefield formula and instead copy a bunch of elements from other games, including hero shooters, and hope that it would somehow work. But it didn't. The game even launched without a scoreboard, and they only recently implemented a squad management system, but even that is severely lacking and you can't even kick players to make room for friends... No wonder Battlebit has become so popular. A low poly game which at first glance looks just like a parody of battlefield. But they actually give people what they want. Dice has something to learn there. If they want to have any hope of bringing back the battlefield fans for their next game, they need to go back to the roots of battlefield, and not try to reinvent the wheel again. They have a winning formula with Battlefield 3 and 4. Just try to copy that formula, and enhance it instead of totally changing it. People just wanted improved movement mechanics, better graphics etc. Nobody wanted specialists, the removal of the scoreboard, server browser and classes, dumbed down vehicle mechanics etc.
Well, based on this videos feedback- I’ll be continuing with this style and quality of video going forward. Videos don’t have a target release date as this stuff takes time, but welcome to all the new subscribers. Next up, Resident Evil 4 Remake.
Keep up the work. It's an ok video, but you need to do a deeper analysis. The difference between 128 players and 64 players and server stress was a huge part of the game's early failures with things like server connection issues, hit reg issues, and server performance issues being major issues for players for the first couple of months. 2042's lack of content is, well, wrong. It's a statement that has helped the dev team ignore portal almost totally. It's because everyone reviewing 2042 ignores portal when it comes to content. They always said "7 maps, 30-something weapons, 2 modes". But that discounts portal. With portal, you have 12 maps and over 70 weapons on launch. That's more than any previous game shipped with. It also had an additional 2 modes in portal at launch, TDM and Rush. Not to mention everything else you could make in portal. Your "Based" opinion of the store working while the game wasn't... You do know that they delayed the first season by over 3 months to put everything they had into making the game work right? And that the beginning of season 2 was when people started saying "it's good now" right? They skipped out on a season, pretty much just included basic cosmetics just for a weekly mission for people to work towards, and put everything into making the game good. You seem to think that Breakthrough is designed for the attackers to win. That's not true. It's designed for the attackers to reach the last sector. Whether they do that with the maximum ticket count or the minimum ticket count is irrelevant, and they don't always do it. Some maps are favored for the attacker, and some for the defender purely on objective placement and number per sector. In the end, who wins or loses is determined more by player skill than who's attacking or defending on a map. "Where's operations?" It's breakthrough. Operations is breakthrough. The only difference is it's on individual maps and not chained through 3 maps. It means that you don't rely on a team to get you through to maps 2 and 3. It's shorter on average because the attackers only have to push through 3-5 sectors instead of 9-15. "The destruction just feels subpar." It's at worst equal to bf3. On average, it's equal to bf4, except without the one copy-pasted building that falls down, and the primary difference is the lack of levolution... on some maps. Spearhead has a good one. Opening the tanker doors on discarded doesn't have the spectacle of Shanghai's tower, but it's there. The rocket exploding isn't half bad. The weather effects exist too. Most walls can be broken down and there are level altering effects on a few of the AOW maps. "Live service is a soulless predatory model." It can definitely have a soul. Take a real deep look at bf5. I mean a really deep look. Look at the maps that came out on launch, and really look at the history of those maps. Then follow through the seasons and look at each map as they came out. Look at the maps as they are now. The answer is: They started at the beginning of 1940 with the German invasion of France. Operation Claymore. The Africa campaign. The invasion of Rotterdam. Then we got the invasion of Sicily. and finally in 1943 the US joined the war. Who knows what would have come next, but it started at 1940 and was progressing through the war as the live service continued. Then at the end, there wasn't enough dev time to make a D-Day invasion, but we can know it happened because the initial French maps changed with breakthrough reversing. It went from Brits defending and Germans attacking to Germans defending while Americans attack. I don't think many people even noticed.

9:02 I CAUGHT THAT FRAME! LMAO But yeah, I agree with this video for the most part, though I feel like the issues are too fundamental in my eyes to be patched out. But then again, I consider BF4-V to be the gold standard on how Battlefield should play so what do I know? Regardless, excellent video, man. It's high quality as hell too, I'm surprised you get so little support given how good your editing is.
Your quotes nailed what the gaming industry is plagued with right now. "2042 will be remembered as a reflection of the state of the industry. A forced, rushed, and abusive live service game motivated by nothing but profits. To the point where the creators of the game could not create a proper game around it..." "This game should still serve as a lesson for why live services are a plague to the industry. It's a soulless predatory model that aims to appease executives and investors while leaving its passionate developers and core fans behind" I could not have said it in any better way. One hell of a video and script

@@0uttaS1TEhey threw it all out the window for solo infantry streamer moments. Tanks and jets are worthless in this game. Infantry are able to kill anything and everything regardless. Streamers play mackay and sundance the most, why? Because of game breaking anti battlefield movement abilities and they have the ability to carry C4 so enemy vehicles have literally zero counter play against even the most basic and noobiest mackay and sundance players carrying C4. Helicopters are king for vehicles because there is practically no jets and ground vehicles capable of checking them. The only thing that could possibly check a helicopter is the railgun tank that HAS to sit inside their base to avoid the extremely oppressive infantry players that can one hit kill them the moment they want a tank dead.
To be honest, I'd love to see a classic-model BF set in the Cold War era. Maybe with a (voluntary) proximity chat, since Battlebit showed just how fun it can be

I dont care about good graphics if it means my fps can vary by half every other second. Only started optimizations after they had fixed the inital 6 months of shittery
Wow. Everything what you told throughout the video is what I felt about BF2042. Predatory live services, and appeasing to the investors what cause BF2042 to spectacularly fail. Indeed the comeback is real and the game feels like a Battlefield game, but by fixing the game for 2 years caused the lack of content making BF2042 lack lustre compared to previous titles. I hope DICE and EA learned from this (like that will happen). They just need to listen to the BF community and try to make a game out of it.

Great video. I’ve downloaded, tried a few games and deleted this game 4 times now. The most annoying thing to me is the ABSURD amount of fine tuning you have to do to get the right sensitivity. I’m on console and I just want to get on, get my horizontal and vertical turn speed on point and play. But I have to sift through 150 different tuning things that I don’t even understand to try and find them.
To be fair I remember they didn't have in game micro transactions prior to season 1 when the game was like no scoreboard broken. But honestly now i've noticed they've made the correct decisions since launching the game.

Im holding out hope for the series forever. I got Battlefield 1 with all its dlc in 2018 for $5 and loved it. It was summer and i played it so much. It was my first battlefield experience. Made me get into military history and now that’s a huge thing for me. I had some unforgettable memories on there and have yet to experience another battlefield that’s been hyped up by the community and delivered (though i didn’t hate bfv the community did at the time and lack of content was disappointing) and 2042… well the video.
you played a battlefield which was decent at best as your first bf game, you don't have any clue what peak battlefield was. older series were much better, dont hold your hopes too high you'll be disappointed.
As for cosmetic system that initially caused confusion (MacKay vs MacKay), I don't understand why they were struggling. BFV already had minimal character customization but faction-locked so things look way less off. True character customization were realized in BFHeroes and BFP4F that is still faction-locked so players won't be struggling to identify who's who.
While it was funny in BFV to see six of the Japanese woman running around in katanas, at least it’s easy to know that they’re only available for the Japan faction, which is a nice touch in and of itself
Funny how most of these so-called Battlefield Veterans were acting like 2042 was a fine Battlefield game and people were overacting. Absolute hypocrite and shills, trying not to burn any bridges with EA basically and sweet talked in all of their videos. If you're a BF fan it's clear that 2042 was the absolute worse of them all, and you could clearly see this from miles aways that something was up with the game from the moment they were acting cagy at the reveal.
Well done!!! The closing segment on ‘feels like battfield’ brought a tear to my eye 😢. Thank you, for making a concise, understandable, and constructive video about 2042. My hat comes off for you, sir.
You've earned a new sub with this video. Very well made, and awesome video! And I'd be completely over battlefield and dice after this and bf5 but I gotta admit as a mahooosive halo fan plus liking the other management changes, I am cautiously optimistic for dices future
I'm still playing BF1 as if BFV and 2042 never came out, and whenever I ask other players in BF1 what they think they say the same thing. So as far as I'm concerned, Dice was shut down by EA after Battlefront 2 and there were no other BF games after BF1.
When bfv content support I fallen into anger and depression hoping the game would get more support after the release of 2042 it made me it’s not the same company that made great battlefield games many’s years earlier, such a sad thing the franchise has fallen from grace, I’m not as optimistic for the future of 2042 nor the next title, I’m at point just ignore the next title for fps games
the fact that they ended support for battlefront2 and bf5 to push out 2042 in such a horrible state really was sad tbh. BFV was actually getting very good with that pacific dlc content. Had me eager and optimistic for the russian/eastern front dlc.
If battlefield causes you to fall into anger and depression, I might would suggest taking a break from video games. Go on a walk outside or talk to friends.
I disagree on the weapon profficiency system. In previous titles like bf 4 you could have the best weapons in the game as the assault class but you were practically defenseless against vehicles. And they could have fixed this by making the utility weapon category universal for all classes just like the shotguns, DMR's and carbines/PDW's in Battlefield 3 and 4. Dice is also forcfully combining the support and medic class into one when they should be 2 seperate classes. You can also still break the game by using a sniper rifle with an ammo box so you never run out of ammo where as in previous titles that was only a thing for the support class with LMG's. And btw why does the engineer class, the class with rocket launchers, have an LMG related weapon profficiency? Dice should really make the class system more like it was in Battlefield 2 with some minor adjustments. Think of it like this: Assault, Medic, Support, Enforcer (from hardline, shield guy with shotguns, battle rifles, gas grenades and gas masks), Anti-tank, Engineer, Recon, Special forces. Now even today a large majority of the features from that reddit post are still missing. Not to mention that 2042 lacks overall attention to detail, destruction, graphics, atmosphere and especially the movement, which is such an unacceptable downgrade from Battlefield V that it baffles me.
The game is not good, now it's a 4/10 maximum nothing else. Battlefield franchise died when Battlefield 5 was launch and Battlefield 2042 did confirm that it was dead. Battlefield 2042 is not a Battlefield that's the only truth, no milsim, no destruction, shit music, shit ambiance, no balance, empty big map, too much dev weapon (or noob weapon), weapon with no feeling, shit graphics (Battlefield 1 a 2016 game look better, still no other game make a better destruction). We have to stop accepting shit and lowering our standards.
I never understood why i keep seeing thats its better now. It seems like its still has the same flaws. Like straight up downgraded destruction, weak art style, less features, 120 players is unplayable without highend crap and cheap feeling gunplay. Its all still there.
People really love the series so I get why they want 2042 to get better, but the core game itself SUCKS. They shouldn't have to literally rework a game for nearly 2 years, plus it won't fix the big problems. The maps suck, the specialists are cringe, the game runs like shit, there's still not a lot of viable guns, UI is hideous, I can keep going. Calling this a good bf, means bf is dead. Countless lies were told too like the beta issues being ironed out, that the beta was an "old build". THE BETA RAN BETTER 😂
Lemme tell you some man,i have the game sice day 1,even right now,by force and jackfrags and westie shill videos about how 2042 is the best game now,,i caaaaaaaaant enjoy the game for a hour,i just cant,i just can not connect to any element of this game, instead i play bf5 even tho im not a big fan of ww2,but i spend many hours in it and also have bf5 since day 1!!!!!!
Ikr? I just can't get used to this game. I just can't. It was the controls and gun feels that were different, and as a BF veteran since BF4 Beta, it's just NOT Battlefield.
@@LightBluly yes I agree.this unbearable piece of shit whe is the latest battlefield. Nothing else seems to scratch that itch anymore. It's just sad to see your game like this.
I still feel ripped off that I supported bfV until they actually fixed the game and had good dlc coming out, just for them to rip my heart out and stop supporting the game to work on 2042.
Deserved sub great recap of what happened to 2042. One thing I’d also point out is despite the issues in PS5, PC and Xbox X, the problems are 100x worse on old gen. I’m shocked they are even allowed to market this for the ps4. The game looks like battle bit at times with the gameplay of 2042.
I disagree with most requests you have. I am really enjoying the current state of 2042 and am hoping it doesn’t end in season 6. I believe you are trying to convince DICE to return their MO to a state suited for older games such as BF4. Don’t get me wrong, those days were great, I am a veteran of battlefield games myself. But they are just trying to evolve the series. This may not appeal to all veterans of the title but it also has the advantage of expanding its audience. Not every change to the core traditional gameplay is bad, learn to embrace some of these improvements.
BfV is unfinished yet still miles better than 2042. People just like arcade/br aspects of it. Movement, grapples, wingsuit. Its nothing new, BR titles were doing this for ages. Than you have something like Battlebit that literally shit on multimilion dollar company and it clearly shows what community wants.
Thanks for this video, almost every video on this game has a bullet point that basically says “isn’t like battlefield” and you go into depth on that with personal experiences on missing game modes instead of just mentioning it.
I’d honestly rather pay for premium again like older titles and have the guarantee of maps, weapons, etc on a timely manner and with a set quality minimum that prevents rushed and under thought out ideas
Not one update could convince me to play 2042 again. Dropped 90 bucks to play this game only to wait a full year to stomach this game to deem it playable again, only to uninstall during its reworks to the game. Not saying this video is awful, but dice drop the ball the day they fucked up on launch, hell BFV had its core features present and untouch without any alters. Hopefully, the _next_ game dice will learn its lesson from the past mess they did
Bravo. I just happened to stumble upon this video and I couldn't be happier that I did. This video summarizes the past 2 years of 2042 better than any other I could find on this platform bar close to none. I found it really helpful especially because I've been wondering whether the game is worth giving a 2nd chance. Once more great job with the video, I cannot imagine the amount of effort and work it took to research everything and edit it all together.
I’d have had no problem with the game releasing in a crap state if EA/Dice demonstrated a shred of integrity, told the player base the game was releasing as a beta due to the pandemic, and it would be free to play with microtransactions/seasonal access to content being a paid experience in the future. WHAT is so wrong with being honest and building community trust after an abysmal performance during the BF5 era… A terrible launch putting EA’s GREED on full display.
Great analysis, very much in line with what I felt for 2042. To be honest, despite the consensus in the community, BF 2042's strongest element is the art design. I love the aesthetics of the maps, the music, even the cosmetics. If only they made different specialists for each faction, it would've been nearly flawless. However, this game left so much to be desired, despite of the decent comeback they managed to achieve.
Man, playing triple AAA multiplayer games now feels so bad. Overwatch, Halo Infinite, Call of Duty, and Battlefield among many more have something wrong with them.
What a fantastic and well-written video this is man! I truly admire the effort you've put into this! GG, and godspeed!✊ Edit: I just want to raise praise for the phrase stated from 38:04 to 38:31. This is an important question and one (in my opinion) that can be met with optimism.

I gotta say Bravo. I really appreciated the work you have put in this. Im a big fan of your editing and narration. You just got a sub. I agree with most of it. Ive been playing since day 1. It's been a rollercoaster. I understand that it's little too late for many. But for me it has surpassed BFV and Hardline in terms of fun. I enjoy the fast pace game. I love the action. I really dont mind the specialist and I prefer 128 to 64 players on 2042 maps. However I am all for a return to a gritty and more grounded atmosphere like bf3-4 with modern 4k graphics. If 2042 launched like this it would have been different Im sure. If it had a campaign, specialist would have been accepted I think. They really did a good job turning it around but fans are already butthurt and the content drop is way too little and too slow. All in all I think 2042 might have been the best thing to happen to Dice combined with the success of battlebit. Good video Bravo again.
Honestly, I think Specialists could have worked - as call-ins. BF1 showed off “super classes” and one of Battlefront’s main mechanics is calling in Heroes to turn the tide of battle. 2042 already has the groundwork for it: squad orders and building credits in game (current Season 5 event). Obviously this can’t be done now, far too gone, but next game I can see it being implemented while retaining the class system. It’d add a lot to the franchise.
If they don't drop the last gen systems, drop the Specialists, drop the player count and shrink the map size so that we can have 120 FPS option like we do on Battlefield 1 which looks ten times better than garbage ass 2042 then I'm not even remotely interested and playing it at all. And that's not to mention fixing all the other bullshit that was wrong with the last two games.
DO NOT LISTEN TO THE "It feels like a decent/good Battlefield game now" SHPEAL... This game is basically completely dead on console 1-3 players max on actual game modes that aren't quickplay which barely have 10 players, on both console and PC bugs, lag, and server issues are extremely prevalent, nothing works well, it feels like an actual pre-alpha testbed... DO NOT BUY THE GAME, if you already bought it and play it again, it's okay, but please, DO NOT GET THE GAME IF YOU DON'T HAVE IT, ANYONE SAYING THE ISSUES/BUGS BF2042 HAS HAVE BEEN FIXED IS LYING AND ARE (probably) ON AN EA PAYROLL... This does not play like a Battlefield game at all still, do not listen to anyone saying otherwise, feel free to reinstall the game and try it out, but if you haven't bought it, don't buy it... I was pretty critical of the game when it first came out. However, I decided to give it another chance and see if it got better about a month ago. Best decision I ever made. It really feels like a battlefield game now. Like it’s supposed to feel. Now that it’s in this state it makes me sad to think that the next season may well be the last, but this makes me optimistic for the next installment in the series

No chance to feel like a battlefield with a specialist, those abilities are a no-go for me.
Exactly it sure as hell doesn't feel like a Battlefield game
Exactly. I always played as specific class and in 2042 i was like wtf everybody is the same here. Disaster
Majority of those specialist "abilites" you're talking about are gadgets in past battlefield games... except a few
And the fact that you move like an Olympic athlete not a soldier.
I don't wanna be the cool operative, i just wanna be the random soldier saying things in a language I dont understand.
The worst part on the grapple hook gadget is that it was already done right back in Battlefield Hardline! It was an all-class gadget anyone could equip.
Yeah and best part was, once you deployed it, everyone could use it
Well.
BF2 Special Forces joins the chat
Battlefield 4 did it best.
There wasnt a shitty grappling hook.
My biggest issue with the game is still how the guns feel/handle. I never stopped playing BF3, so I came from BF3 to 2042, and the portal guns aren’t even close to what they were. Also, bullets don’t exit guns at a 45 degree angle in real life.
They do in BF3
@@thebigsam I literally have 100 service stars with the AEK. 😂
literally what they did to the ACW is horrid, the ACW in older battlefields had 880rpm and laser liker recoil. in 2042 its rate of fire is almost like the AK24 and u cant beam ppl at long range unless u single or burst fire or just get lucky.

I can say with confidence that i'm loving BattleBit Remaster, everytime i weight if i'm playing battlefield or battlebit, the later usually wins

Never force yourself to a release date!! That's why indie games usually come out complete lol
BF5 is 7/10 _now_
Keep up the work.
A heads up, when mentioned bf7 the article said it will release in 2024, but you said 2042 instead. Quite the mind bender but thought you’d want to fix that audio clip.

Its been 2 years already? Surely not...
Blud got depression from a game 💀⁉️⁉️⁉️
the fact that they ended support for battlefront2 and bf5 to push out 2042 in such a horrible state really was sad tbh.
Think of it like this:
Assault, Medic, Support, Enforcer (from hardline, shield guy with shotguns, battle rifles, gas grenades and gas masks), Anti-tank, Engineer, Recon, Special forces.
Now even today a large majority of the features from that reddit post are still missing. Not to mention that 2042 lacks overall attention to detail, destruction, graphics, atmosphere and especially the movement, which is such an unacceptable downgrade from Battlefield V that it baffles me.

I will forever hate 2042 for killing BFV and Battlefront 2 when BFV had a amazing pacific expansion and Battlefront 2 was in its prime

People cried to much about splitting up the community, so that’s never coming back.
Not one update could convince me to play 2042 again.

@@Legion849and the team work, regardless if you knew the person in your team. I miss BF3 and I will cherish that but none of these new BF releases can compare. Do you y’all remember when the DLC came out for BF3?
Can someone explain to me what was wrong with Battlefield V? I have over 1000 hours on BF4, but due to my PC not being able to run past BF1 i couldn't play much of BFV, but now that i have, i really like the game, it feels very good, so what happend?
Battlefield 5 was fucking amazing, these people are idiots
Only halfway through this video currently but loving it so far! Honestly kinda makes me wanna jump back into BF after it’s colossally bad launch.
But I came to give a shout out to the editing work. At 20:50 you make a cut when you prep a grenade and it’s SEAMLESS and thought it deserved the praise for the work that went into making it look smooth. Good work homie 👍
I got covid two weeks ago and had nothing to do. Remembered I had not liked BF2042 at launch and decided to boot it up again. NOW I CAN NOT STOP PLAYING IT!!!
This is a very high quality video for such a small channel
Also wanted to say that this is the first video of yours I've seen and i subscribed because of it! Excellent video and breakdown of BF2042.
Awesome, thank you!
I need the authentic BATTLEFIELD to come back. Two armies with their Own Uniforms. Medic is medic, support is support with big backpack, assalt with the big ole boozoka, and scouts witj thier mysterious mask.
Great Video! I'm enjoying 2042 now. It was worth the $15 lol. I'm glad I didn't have to experience the early iteration of this game...
Nah not even 15 lol. Maybe 5 bucks lol. Barely worth it free. Just such an insult to what made battlefield great.
Game is garbage. Uninstall that trash and play a real game aka battlebit remastered
@@kenshinhimura9387 fat chance lol
@@M1XEDBAG so you don't like good games and actively choose to play inferior garbage with COD specialists??? Why? Nobody even plays that dead game you're on.
@@kenshinhimura9387 all the lobbies I play on are full
Once they fully get rid of crossplay between pc and console I will return. Also the maps are still just too big and they are like running simulators
Ive played this game a lot since launch, it has come a long way, if u gave me 2042 as it is right now instead of what we got at launch, i would be very happy, its a night and day difference. But i would of still be expecting more after that amazing reveal trailer . Like that trailer was on par with BF1's trailer imo.
Just like BF1, 2042 is just woke arcadey garbage. Glad the franchise is going downhill.
It's just a boring game. No flow, just a free roam shooter with no purpose.
Cringe weeb cope harder the game is terrible and dead
BF1 was a great game though
@@danielainger No it wasn't. It was arcadey garbage and had zero representation about World War 1.
Imagine a World War 3 Battlefield where the last DLC have a post nuclear setting, like an extreme version of Battlefield 3's Aftermath
Nails on a chalkboard was the perfect way to describe the music it honestly feel’s like an intentionally malicious decision by the devs.
great video, it’s a shame that the launch wasn’t good. I’m optimistic about the next game and hope for a decent story . Keep up the good work :)
I'm out of hope. Next game needs to win otherwise Battlefield is dead.
Nah let the franchise die the devs that made the previous games are far gone . It's better to let it die already
you’re happy with the product we had handed to us like some cafeteria slop ??
people like you are why they keep releasing shlock. dont be optimistic, there is no point in disappointing yourselves this much
People like you are the reason they'll never do better.youll support and give them your money wether they give you a good game or shit down your throat regardless
This has got to be the best TH-cam video I've seen in awhile 👏
Even after all they've done to fix the game, I can't say I'll be buying the next BF. They've burned their fanbase time and time again, and I'm over it.
This game is still shit. It's never going to get better
People and streamers talk shit about BF5, but BF5 is a great game, shame on everyone who left this game behind unfinished
BF5 is a great game and i really wish they would at least finish the game
I remember every time a battlefield game came out, people would hate on it. They did it with bf3, bf4, bf1, bf5 and now 2042. They’ll release another one and people are going to be like “2042 was better, make it like 2042” 😂
2024 will still shit
Preordered the game and played a whopping 11 hours of it before I uninstalled and never looked back. Just wasn't a Battlefield game in my opinion.
Thank you so much! Me and my editor make an amazing team!
Very, very good video Nick, Keep it up!
But what about battle bit?
Man that section " Feels like battlefield" gives me chills. Thank you, I am now confident enough to try Battlefield 2042 for myself!
Trust me...
Just came back to the game after leaving it at launch and i can say its somewhat enjoyable now. Im glad they didnt give up on this game
Cope the game is dead and dogshite
What makes this even sadder is that Battlefront 2 ended development cycles for this
128 player zombies mode on Caspian border is what kept me around for the first few months of the game’s launch. But once they took it away I quit. Portal is where it’s at.
You mean battlebit remastered is where it's at.
3 people made a better game than BF 2042, if that's not enough for people to realize this franchise is dying (if it isn't already) I don't know what will be.
And i will never forgive EA for this...
I love 128 players game, more destruction and deadly vehicles, also infantry mode
I love 128 as well but if it means sacrificing map design to only be fun in that player size, I get why people are upset
@@ProReborn i think dice needs to do better maps that you can adjust base on player 128, 64 and 32
Battlebit shows you yeah it is just a couple people in charge who ruin the game's direction.
Its better but map design is still abyssmal
@@egrassa1480You don’t get nice ‘maps’ in modern combat though.
@@brandonkelbe nobody said about nice map, im not talking about visual design, im talking about gameplay design. 2042 maps have points of interest where everything happens and big space filled with nothing. It becomes a walking simulator.
if you are optimistic about the next BF game, its because of your 62 IQ.
@@brandonkelbe Yeah but it's a game not real combat
