    Jackson do you know why although adapter firmware is 2.1 and although I have done all of your settings on advance ex I still can't see sst temp?

    man, u helped me a lot. thank u so much.

    The calculated sst temp that torque can read which is the same as evo scan sees isn't just created from the fluid it uses alot of different parameters to reach that number

    • @deaedfly
      @deaedfly 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I use the torque app with a bluetooth adapter and it works fine and the temp will slowly climb and rise depending in driving

      @@deaedfly Thats the actual point of this video. How do you know it's fine? What exactly are you basing this off? A 16 degree variation in temperature is not accurate. The previously popular MUT V2 plugin was a lot more accurate and never have readings as far off as Advanced EX. But here's the clincher. It wasn't accurate either. What other variables do you suggest affect a temperature readout from the transmission?

    • @deaedfly
      @deaedfly 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I read it on a forum for the sst. The value that evo scan gets is accurate because it is the same value the mut 3 gets. Someone in the states has tested the torque app compared to evo scan and it has been the same. The temp is calculated using the oil temp but also the temperature and pressures of each set of clutches

      @TweakedGSX  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@deaedfly No it is not. The temps are separate values and are specifically able to be displayed. Any plugin that suggests that the EVO 8 had an SST transmission is fake news.

    Great video. Does your boost read more than 22psi?

    • @TweakedGSX
      @TweakedGSX  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I run 26psi but you can set max gauge limit reading values as you like.

    • @LucifusProductions
      @LucifusProductions 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@TweakedGSX the problem is that no matter what scale I use it won’t go higher than 22.2psi on the guage. Does yours log more? How much boost are you running?

    • @TweakedGSX
      @TweakedGSX  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@LucifusProductions long press the gauge and go into max settings and change the value higher. I run 26psi and I have it set at 30psi currently as max value

    • @LucifusProductions
      @LucifusProductions 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@TweakedGSX it’s set to 30 already. The guage won’t register over 22.2 no matter how much boost I run. I’m guessing I’m missing some kind of plug-in confit. Thanks though.

      @@LucifusProductions I see. Only two options then are to install a boost gauge or to log via Evo scan and compare boost readings to torque pro values. I have a boost and afr gauge as having a gauge is always the best confirmation of any value over torque pro

    • @TweakedGSX

      It's your obd2 wifi or Bluetooth problem. If you go to USB you will have no problems.

    Dodson sump has it's own temp sensor, Torque is reading the INTERNAL SST sensor temps, not the Dodson heated sump temps.
    Go for a drive a watch the Torque temps, then you'll know for sure.

    • @TweakedGSX
      @TweakedGSX  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      This is acknowledged in the video. They are 2 sensors within 30cm of each other

    • @deaedfly
      @deaedfly 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      That is only the temp of the sump tho not the actual transmission

    • @TweakedGSX
      @TweakedGSX  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@deaedfly there are 3 sensors in the box from factory. This video comparison clearly shows values at the sump vs "transmission temperature". Pure speculation is commented from anyone but the app developer who does not reply to contact. Whether the the temp displayed is from the mech temp sensor or the clutches, who knows but there should not be a 16 degree variation in the same box. The Dodson sump is directly mated to the box. It's not hanging off the rear drivers side door. Watch the next installment and you will see further updates.
