Great salute to your teaching methods. I am wondering, chemistry is one of theeasy subjects, provided the teacher must have best teaching abilities. I have gained confidence to to teach chapter solutions. Thanks
Very well explained. Down to earth but also delves into the details and superb explanations. Great tutorial and planning of the lecture. Thanks for this lecture! :)
If the pressure is applied on the solution is greater than the osmotic pressure, then the partial solvent in solution started passing into pure solvent through semi permiable membrane is called reverse osmosis.

How much volume or quantity of pure solvent moves from LHS to RHS in the process of osmosis? What possobility is there increasing the level of solution side.
Your style is good but there is a mistake Osmosis is solvent water moves from low concentration to high concentration. This is because low concentration side will have a higher vapour pressure.
Dear Student, There are different definitions of Osmosis, and yes, what you pointed out is true. Osmosis is the movement of solvent from a region where solvent concentration is low to a region where solvent concentration is high. Whereas, there is another definition of Osmosis which means, movement of solvent from a region of high concentration to a region of low concentration. This is because when we say low concentration, that means it has more solvent. If you have any more doubts, please submit it and get it cleared at www.misostudy.com/doubt-clearing/
if we setup a membrane pipe in very deep water then water entered into pipe through membrane due to its own pressure, so the pipe become full of clean water and through the capillarity action we pour out that water in pond itself then in some day's all the water become clean automatically💩💩💩????
