Paul after restrictions have been reduced can you make a vid at Frankston pier. You can get snapper, salmon, garfish and flathead there. Salmon and gars are best off the pier. Can u do part off the pier and some on a boat? Please!
Great vid. Heaps better streams out there though, that water ain’t as good as it used to be… it’s mostly cleared now, years ago there was heaps more cover, lots more fish. I haven’t seen any platypus in that water for years unfortunately. Spoilt for choice in Gippsland, you’d be better rewarded to get off the beaten track..
@@timsmith854 im in Hampton Park but I can go anywhere lol for fishing... I just has 2 Assassin Beachmaster 14ft over head rods so I need fresh eel for shark bait,,,to me shark fishing its fun and also I don't have to kill any fish ( only for sport ) thank you so much if u can help
@@daraleas9985 I only know areas in Gippsland. Blue Rock dam has some huge eels in it. They mainly feed at night. I got snapped off with 20+ lb braid one night. There are monsters in there. I love using eel as shark bait in the surf as the sand crabs seem to leave it alone. Lake Narracan has some big eels as well.
hi @@timsmith854 if u fish for shark next time just put a bit of foam on the hook and then put some cut bait on( not whole fish ) .so do its this way to lift the bait up so sand crab won't touch the bait . I learn this technique from South Africa fishing. and thank you for your eel location anyway I'm move to Morwell soon and I think blue rock not far from my place lol
@@daraleas9985 Thanks for the tip. If you are moving to Morwell soon, you will be spoilt for choice for places to eel fish. You won't be far from the Gippsland lakes and the Estuary rivers, they have MASSIVE Conger eels. I have also heard that Carp make good bait for Sharks (soak the fillets in Tuna oil) and you are surrounded by big Carp in Gippsland.
@@Urbanfisho I live in Drouin so I can say that crappy joke. Paul should have done what every Neerim South local does and fish in the Tarago Reservoir for some massive Blackfish.
first time ive seen paul use something other than fins braid 😂

Go off the rocks at the smaller pier. They hang about for the change of tides aka food.
Paul's only in it for the $$$
What lure you like to use for trout Paul.. you are right saying ive caught large trout in Gippsland in streams you can step across.
When fishing minnows for trout should you give the minnow any action or just straight retrieve
