- The Supra is still down for its BC Racing coilover conversion and suspension refresh, so our 2019 Miata is handling rally duty this weekend. We have some maintenances to knock out, and a big stupid NiLight 32" LED bar to mount somewhere.

@@redhenracing2 I’m primarily doing cosmetic shenanigans to it since I’m not super comfortable with mechanical/performance mods but soon I’ll definitely dabble! It’s been a huge learning experience researching I’ll find ya on IG!
Some of the most important things are also the easiest. I promise, you can do your own coilovers. If you look back at one of our very first videos, I break it down Barney-style and you can do it in an afternoon. Get more comfortable turning wrenches, and even more comfortable making mistakes, and you'll be unstoppable.
Another great video! Anyone watching this i use the fumoto valve with a nipple and a 1/2”OD 3/8”ID plastic tube to drain the oil directly into a container. Then use a gallon size ziploc to grab the filter and spin it off. Fumoto is a game changer either way! (It normally drains way faster than this.. it seems as tho you didnt take off the oil fill cap or pop up the dipstick to let air in while draining).

But, the spigot is certainly smaller than the gaping hole of a removed drain plug, so it will be a bit slower no matter what. There are dozens of Fumoto valves though, perhaps there's another that fits but has a bigger mouth to drain faster? Mine is the exact part number I showed in the screenshot, 106-s or whatever. I've also seen concern of some of them having a longer spout to attach a hose to, and it getting dangerously close to the skidplate. That is definitely not an issue with this one.

Let us know if the light bar blocks too much air, causing overheating during the rally's.
Over a thousand miles of daily driving and a couple of rallies on this setup so far, and no projected issues at all 🤙
