When the fetal weight is less than the 10th percentile for gestational age, it raises a concern for Intrauterine Growth Restriction (IUGR), but it does not automatically confirm the diagnosis. If the low weight percentile is an isolated finding and no other abnormalities are present, you might use "small for gestational age (SGA)" instead of IUGR.
