I’m truly curious at how many of Kazuya and Jin’s combos would drop if their range even remotely matched up with the animation and their body positioning.
Honestly, Kaz has it harder in that regard. Multiple DF1>DF2 strings have whiffed just because i didn't do 3,1,df to branch the combo. Plus, electric juggles seem to be less worth it in the longrun in terms of damage. Jin got easier. It feels like Kazuya got harder.
Pretty much it's catching the get up option. Coupled with the fact that your back is to the wall. If you can't find a way out with your get up options you're screwed.
Can just speak for myself as a kaz main but its a combination of alot of things. Labbing, maining a char and being able to recognize combo options on the fly(you labbed them obv but you know the routes) and muscle memory

@@charlessmith7562 Remember that players like TMM here have been playing Tekken for 20 years. Even most red-purple ranks have hundreds to even a thousand + hours in T7. Once you get to a certain point in the game with your character you'll be able to adjust your combos/wall carry more on the fly because you just know what will link where, and what will not. But you need both the knowledge and experience in these kind of situations to know these things and be able capitalize on them in the moment.

Xiaoyu has half a million moves which makes her "hard", but certain moves she had are just kinda broken(AOP) Jack is technically easy, but it doesn't make him higher tier than Devil Jin I think the hell sweeps just aren't as reactable as they should be.

(And for kaz, the fact that lots of his attacks are steppable in a game with a lot of homing attacks and homing throws) Even leroy can do big damage he just has awful reach and not as many frame traps right now as the rest of them, so you have to work harder than the rest.
@@weeds1336 A good Kazuya scares me way more than a good Asuka. Dragunov is an A/S level character so not the best comparison, but I have faith in a Kazuya with maybe 3/4 years experience that they can beat an average Dragunov.

I think down+back blocks it. Never tried parry while getting up XD
