I remember around 10 or so years ago when I was looking for free footage to practice there was this “open source” movie called “Valkaama” it came with the script and was free to download. I also remember that I came across a music video contest where participants could download the footage of one Dear Rouge’s music videos to edit and submit! Good job! 👍
I think those kinds of projects are so helpful, as it’s hard to get access to that as a beginner!!! That’s really great to hear there may be even more options out there that I didn’t mention!
Hey Colleen! Maybe this is just me but when I read the title and saw the thumbnail, I thought the video was about stock footage subscriptions like Storyblocks. Like how to get access to more realistic looking footage that doesn’t look so produced. This video was still cool though and cool to know.
