I just purchased Capture One yesterday, and this was my first video I've watched on TH-cam! Coming from Lightroom, the Cull tab along with smart adjustments, will exponentially decrease the amount of time I spend editing.
Great video! If I want to select multiple images and delete those before I start culling - how do I do that? I find that if I mark for instance 100 images in the beginning of a shoot where I am just adjusting the light (by marking the first image + press Shift and then mark the last image) - and then pressing delete (or shortcut T for Trash) - then this is only applied to the first image and not the rest 99. It's like my images are not included in a selection. How can I do that quickly? I often have to select multiple images and select those without going through one by one and marking with stars or colours. Thanks in advance ;-)
Susanne great question. You first must make sure "edit all selected variants" is enabled. Once enabled you will be able to mass delete photos or anything else. The shortcut on mac is CMD + Shift +E.
Hey Brandon. This was another good one. 👌🏽 One of my buddies uses a game controller to map buttons to culling functions in Lightroom. I think I may combine what he's doing with what you've demonstrated here for C1. I hope you're staying safe out there.
Wyche Studios He uses a PC, but for my Mac, I’ve bought Joystick Mapper. I was using it for Steam gaming a while back. That’s what I plan to use. I’ve actually done it with a separate program called Fast Raw Viewer, but I never thought to do it with C1. Joystick Mapper is $5 in the Mac App Store. It’s the only thing I’ve used.
Great man! Tnx :D
Thank you so much for sharing! This is so helpful since I'm trying to move out from Lightroom.
That's great to hear let me know if you need anymore help.
Perfect! Thank you.
Very helpful! Thank you
Andrew Morales Thanks for the feedback.

That's so good to hear. I really need to start making more videos again. I have not downloaded the new version yet with Culling tab.
This is what i was looking for, can you do a video on how you edit these images, thank you.
Marian thanks for the comment. Are you looking for processing in C1 or Photoshop retouching?
@@Wychestudios1 Capture one please.

David Cole Photography thats an interesting method. I wonder what program he uses to map the buttons.
