Not necessary Xue. Hindi kelangan na US CPA before applying for work in the US. I believe kelangan lang ung certification para mapromote to manager or para ma-approve sponsorship mo for green card. 🙂

Yep, CMA is a plus! I know some auditors here or accountants na maski walang title sa Philippines, nakapunta naman dito. Ang important ay experience and mameet ang requirements ng employer :)

Sadly no, only BS Accountancy can take the CPA licensure exam. But I think you can try bridging programs and take another 1yr(?) to study and take CPA exam eventually. It's possible for you to have double certification of CMA and CPA. 😊

Yes meron yan. It's up to employers, competitive nga lang ang pool of applicants. May ibang employers, hindi lang board passing ang tinitignan kundi ang experience din sa work. :)
