Hello Guys,
In this video, I have shared my experience of Couchsurfing with Russians in Yekaterinburg. This was the third Couchsurfing experience of from Russia & I must say it was also the best experience too.
CouchSurfing is a social networking service accessible via a website and mobile app used to arrange homestays and hospitality, and join events such as "Couch Crashes."
The platform is a gift economy; hosts are not allowed to charge for lodging. It is based on the idea that people are generally kind.
Members can either directly request lodging from other members or post their travel plans publicly and receive offers from other members. However, unless members verify their ID, address, and phone number and pay a one-time US$60 charge (waived for members who host every 3 months, they are only able to send messages to 10 other members per week.

Your couch surfing host is really cheerful. How fast they become so intimate and friendly, that's such a pleasant experience. I am reminded of my visit to erstwhile Soviet Union as a state guest, visiting several cities. I was truly overwhelmed by the kind of love and emotional bonding they displayed.
