Sweet video, that's totally my type of fishing right there. I'm getting ready to head over seas, and looking forward to meeting up with you and making some cool videos.
The ones with the more pronounced lines below the lateral line were Guadeloupe Bass, but that's still really awesome to see come from a creek like that. Hope there will be more vids like these in the future
Man I'd keep that spot secret. The way those fish were nailing you so fast there must not be any pressure there much at all. If you do take someone there make it a very special close friend and make sure and film it for all of us. Cheers!
I was out there while you were fishing! I remember greeting you and thinking you looked familiar. That is a tough creek to fish- you make it look easy. If you need some recommendations for College Station, lemme know!
If you want to know if it is a Guad Check inside the mouth. The bristle pattern is different. Check the TPWL site or annual regs. There can be hybrids. They are the only bass native to the rivers of Texas. Keep up the videos. Great work.
Guadalupe bass have a mouth more like a largemouth. Spotted bass are known for having small mouths, like a smallmouth, and the jaw doesn’t extend out as much as a Guadalupe and Large mouth. So all those that you thought were Guads were spots
Please read i fish a lot know a decent amount of fish(I’m not saying I’m a pro I just know a lot but my grandpa is really good) A good place to fish is the Ohio river
I think the Spotted Bass are more aggressive than the Largemouths & seem to always be hungry. Only downside is they don't generally get near as big. Biggest I've ever caught was a little over 3Lbs & I've caught loads of them. What they lack in size they usually make up for in numbers. They are fun. Read some place where they have been illegally introduced they outcompete Largemouths? Don't know how true it is though?
Being from Kentucky and the spotted bass is literally called the Kentucky bass I can promise that none of these bass were spots. Great video though creek bass are the best!
Coming from a professional, those were all guadalupe bass, not spots. A spot would have a more whiter belly all the way up to the black line and the black line would be much more define.
I honestly don’t think fish are smart enough to notice the line. I went fishing in a creek in north Oklahoma and I have the video on my channel and it is so clear and I was using 50 pound braid and caught a ton
My name is Jack and I am from Pittsburgh. My dad and I make jigs and sell them around our area, and we are looking for a little more exposure. We could make something for you that would work for this type of fishing and send it your way. Would you be interested?
Sweet video, that's totally my type of fishing right there. I'm getting ready to head over seas, and looking forward to meeting up with you and making some cool videos.
Andy's Fishing can't wait to see you in the states, love the videos Andy.
Andy's Fishing so stoked for this!
Definitely make more videos at the creek
Nice job. I love it when you find a creek full of fish
The ones with the more pronounced lines below the lateral line were Guadeloupe Bass, but that's still really awesome to see come from a creek like that. Hope there will be more vids like these in the future

Definitely go back with a fly rod. What a beautiful creek.
Yep, do some more videos there. You make me wish I was there in Texas to go fishing with you.
Those shades...
More creek fishing!!! I believe fishing creeks is some of the best fishing!!
Man I'd keep that spot secret. The way those fish were nailing you so fast there must not be any pressure there much at all. If you do take someone there make it a very special close friend and make sure and film it for all of us. Cheers!
I fish this creek pretty regularly, lots of fun! Huge gar in there too.
Wow productive day at the creek!
I was out there while you were fishing! I remember greeting you and thinking you looked familiar. That is a tough creek to fish- you make it look easy. If you need some recommendations for College Station, lemme know!

Where was this on the Navasota? I live close to it in South College Station
Can you please tell me where this fishing spot is? I am looking for good spots in Katy tx
those bitsy flip jigs are sooo good
If you want to know if it is a Guad Check inside the mouth. The bristle pattern is different. Check the TPWL site or annual regs. There can be hybrids. They are the only bass native to the rivers of Texas. Keep up the videos. Great work.
Perfect fall Video
Crazy I wish I had a creek like that to fish!
At 7:42 what's that bug on his left leg
Looks like a slug
hey man, enjoy the fishing up there and whenever you're back in katy lemme take you for some carp and cat action.. love the vids !!
Was gonna say, that upper pool past the bridge looks like the best pool to me.
Most of them were spots... we catch alot of them here in the ozarks but the Guadalupe bass did have a slightly different pattern than the spots...
What a snakey looking place! Good fishing though. Love your videos.
i love those bitsy bug jigs
that creek is full of fish, I love to fish Creeks too
Creek fishing is the best
The fish that blew up on top water t 8:15 was a guad
7:42 is that a bug on his leg
I think
Loves the videos!! Quick question though. Do fish congregate in places where there is more current or less?
Have caught guads out of the navasota when I was at tamu.
Nice video, guads are only found in central Texas so most likely spotted bass
Can you please put the gear used in the description and possible where you can buy it, thanks. Awesome vids
I had to smile when you said BIG FISH @5:14 and your pet fish come to mind. They are BIGGGG Fish for sure :) Great video
whenever ur back home i know some local ponds near buy that hold bass over 7lbs
Great video man
Guadalupe bass have a mouth more like a largemouth. Spotted bass are known for having small mouths, like a smallmouth, and the jaw doesn’t extend out as much as a Guadalupe and Large mouth. So all those that you thought were Guads were spots
I live in Katy Texas and I am looking for places to fish, do you mind telling me where this Creek is located and also where you net shad?
Awesome video what rod is that
"Ima try to let him go as gently as i can"
Bass:*Belly flops*
Please read i fish a lot know a decent amount of fish(I’m not saying I’m a pro I just know a lot but my grandpa is really good) A good place to fish is the Ohio river
Awesome video

Great vid man thank you!!
Looks like a better trout strean
You are the fluke master in this video
what kind of fluorocarbon do you use ?
Where is that creek? I would like to check it out!
All of them were guads except for that chunky largie! Keep up the good work my dude
That was so cool
both spotted and guadelupe bass were caught, but they were probably hybrids guadelupe x spotted.
@7:41 that big bug thing on your left leg i would freak!!!!
HOLY SHIT
Way to go
do more feeding fish videos, Those turtles were so cute :D
omg! what creek is this?
can you please tell me where this is I live in Katy everywhere I go is fished out
Are you still at blinn?
I have a nice creek with some good bass fishing right behind my house. I have some videos of me fishing there on my channel.
They could be crossed?
#definitely guads!
They were all guadalupe bass or at least a hybrid of them, it's the state fish of texas
Great video
Being from Kentucky and the spotted bass is literally called the Kentucky bass I can promise that none of these bass were spots. Great video though creek bass are the best!
Brock Mcalpin those were spots it's so obvious
Jack Lowry if you knew what you were talking about you'd know they are not spotted bass
All of the fish other than that huge largemouth were Guadalupe bass. Spotted bass would have a more define black line and a whiter belly.
Brock Mcalpin I know that as well I’m from Kentucky
All of those bass with the bigger vivid scales were Guadalupe bass.
That's real fishing
I did not want you to stop filming
When hurricane Irma came through I was catching bass & bluegill in my backyard. 😂
Joking or real cause that sounds hella sweet lol
They are Guadeloupe bass.
Do more videos like these
I cant jig fish in my local creek, too many rocks. Even with wacky rig, shakey head, I get hung up.
I went fishing for 3 hrs this morning & only caught a 6 inch catfish...its just one if those days...
Dre' M. I hate days like those
Had plenty of those days. That's why it's called fishing not catching.
You can tell a spot by the rough spot on there tongue
Coming from a professional, those were all guadalupe bass, not spots. A spot would have a more whiter belly all the way up to the black line and the black line would be much more define.
Pear Fishing "professional"
Pear Fishing lmao you're like 12 and no videos other than you catching and cooking sunfish 😂😂😂😂
That's my little brother
And his friend
Pear Fishing hes not a pro hes full of shit
Did they have a tongue patch? If so...spots would be my guess
Some nice fish there, making Texas look good! Hope you pay for college doing this.
2:36 thats 100% a guad
possibly a hybrid but it has guad genes
next time, catch them on the ultralight rod
I love me an ultralight. When I was about 12 i caught a 4' sturgeon on a 4'6" ultralight from the early 70's.
And that's why I only buy Fenwick.
I thought guads and spots are the same fish ??
I honestly don’t think fish are smart enough to notice the line. I went fishing in a creek in north Oklahoma and I have the video on my channel and it is so clear and I was using 50 pound braid and caught a ton
Nice video
Medica!!!
I love catching channel catfish
Some of those looked like guads
EDIT: nvm commented at the beginning of the vid
They were Guadalupe bass
Where r u from
I think those are guads
I think those fish r meanmouths
Those are spotted
What college?
Come back their and catch some gar
+Devon Holtzclaw I will!
My name is Jack and I am from Pittsburgh. My dad and I make jigs and sell them around our area, and we are looking for a little more exposure. We could make something for you that would work for this type of fishing and send it your way. Would you be interested?
I fish that place all the time but don’t catch anything
Most of those were spots all of the others were largies
Its a Guadalupe bass i checked
Glue Boss
Make more videos please
I like the Amish-beard look fish whisperer has.
