This is mindblowing for two reasons that i can see right away - one is that not everyone can just lay tracks straight up like that. Secondly, though, and this is really firstly if you think about it, you're DOING THE NYANCAT SONG WITH ONE HAND. My God!
I just love people like you that show us the whole song as its being made, like the individual pieces being recorded and set to loop, it shows how ridiculously complicated a simple track like Nyan Cat can be. Keep up the awesome work.
Sorry, since then I've broken my microKorg and forgotten the presets. The only thing I can tell you is that they are all factory presets with pretty much no sound editing so if you just flick through the sounds you'll find them for sure.
1:40 such control with only one hand is so skilled that I can't believe this is a human talent... I can't do as good, even slowlier, and talking about using two hands is even more unthinkable for me... I'm jealous. Great job anyway!
@MrPlaystationboy No it wasn't a huge problem. But now I have a Korg R3 and to be honest the regular sized keys are preferable. But the MicroKorg is still a lot of fun!
@007pieke I can only vouch for the RC30 which definitely is (3hrs recording time). I can only assume that the RC3 would be able to (5 minutes seems pretty doable)
I just found your channel last week. I'm in love with your work-especially your "A-Bit of" series! It's just the perfect music to loop and get lost and be productive. It's also nice to venture back to your "old" stuff and see your origin/influences of your current work.
This is just a regular microKORG but I have played an XL. I would say that it is better. But for me it is still too limited. The R3 is a step up again and even that is a bit limiting for me. But it depends what you want to be able to do I suppose. They are all good keyboards.
That red thing is a Boss RC-30 Loop Station. I would recommend a minimoog if you can afford it (that's what I want most). But otherwise the r3 is pretty good for it's price.
Daniwell-P would be proud. As would Momo, if she had a mind of her own, not just for the amazing cover, but because you are one of the few people to actually give them credit, albeit a small mention at the bottom of the description.
This is great. I think it needs you performing it to pull it off. By that I mean, if you recorded this and made a video of a cat flying across the screen, I don't think I would have listened to the whole thing ;-) I would have played the awesome improvised solo at 2:30 and then just cut it off there, but it's great anyhow.
2 things. 1) this video does not have enough views for how awesome it is 2) you should totally try and get a job working at a video game company somewhere making their background music, even if it's for a retro-indie style game where they use mostly 8/16 bit sounding background music, your style and flair you put on your music is amazing..
@JammyJoh No need to thank me, I should thank you for making something so amazing, theres another synth nyan cat and yours makes it look so terrible. I love how you show yourself mixing in the beats one by one so amazing to see how many different beats there are going on!
@Runictheunic haha! I just made it available for free download on my facebook page under the bandpage tab. Link in the description ;)

@@-TheRealCozmik- well it's not easy for me. It's actually unthinkable.
@@-TheRealCozmik- I can't even play a simple thing on one hand, while making a rhythm with the other hand tapping on the table...
@@-TheRealCozmik- but as soon as I have a shorter note I mess up with the rhythm hand 😩 it's just my brain can't coordinate both hands.
@@-TheRealCozmik- after all those years, yeah I doubt it. It's like some people can move their eyes independently, and some can't.
i remember adding this to my favourites back in 2012.
ah memories.

Sorry, I'm a bit too tied up making music to make tutorial videos right now but there is a hell of a lot of sheet music for this on the internet.
@kvector Hmmm...If memory serves me correctly: E, F#, D#min, G#min, C#min7, F#, B, Bmaj7

Daniwell-P would be proud. As would Momo, if she had a mind of her own, not just for the amazing cover, but because you are one of the few people to actually give them credit, albeit a small mention at the bottom of the description.
