...I gotta admit, I don't really get the purpose of Heracles. He doesn't give you anything if you beat him, you get the gold either way. Maybe it's more gold than you would normally get? Still, it's a kinda underwhelming reward if so.
He competes with you for money you normally get and also his club swings can absolutely stun you. Unlike with Nemmy it's a penalty round. Same with Polyphemus barrages.
Selene dislikes Heracles because he killed her son, the Nemean Lion, and still wears its pelt as armor

The game is still early access, so lots to still do with him and the devs are just doing other stuff first?

Herc is far far stronger, but hes not as nimble
