I had seven Strandbergs at one point, but eventually I realized I prefer "normal" necks instead of the Endurneck, and I also prefer straight frets. While the Endurneck is nice when playing up the neck, it's too chunky at the nut and uncomfortable for open chords, and while the multiscale frets might not be a problem for soloing, for certain chord shapes it can be kind of annoying when played up the neck. I'm down to just one Strandberg and I'm not sure if I'm going to keep it.
I guess they should had put an angled bridge (at least) pickup to make low notes sound tight. It's still great but could be much better with that change, at least for "metal".
It’s a completely scary addiction. The spiral neck & frets are also rather scary. Needs a 9V Heavy Duty scary battery and a scary guitar stand that can handle it. Beautifully scary.
Practice guitar?? Travel guitar??? No way, .......this is a fully fledged gig , rock machine. You'll never need another guitar for the rest of your life!
got a plini one. just love it !
Beautiful guitar!

I wish you talked more about the pick ups and tones, thats most of what makes this the metal version, not the aesthetics!! good job though
Thanks! I'll keep that in mind for future videos 😄
My next guitar is deffo headless, but I'm not sure if I can leave without a tremolo bar lol...seems so light, ergonomic, practical.
I'll definitely give it a go! 😍
Could have played it at least
Funny because the first words he said were "So... I'm playing a strandberg here!" while not playing... the strandberg.
@@OfficialDreamTheater makes sense to me lol
Also can you please update after 6 months see how it holds up, cheers!
