You probably stopped checking these comments for suggestions, but I'm going to ask anyway. So I recently found your page and love all the content. I notice in a majority (if not all of your "episodes") your player looks like a custom created guy (to look like you) and other GTA V mod pages show them using the preset modded cops. How did you do that? Is it a mod or an in-game type of thing? I am getting GTA V on Steam and I want to mod the game out and it'd be awesome to play as a custom player.

Hey Jeff I've got a bit of a strange question, Is there any way you could post some of your .ini files for the mods, or just how you have all of your controls laid out? The only reason I ask is I'm currently trying to set up all of the same mods that you're using on a controller, and it's a bit frustrating at times since some of them overlap etc.

Hey jeff I know that you talked about how you adjusted the lights on the light bars that constantly stay on. For example, I believe you said when you first used the explorer there were brake lights on the light bar. How did you take those out and just have it as a normal light bar without the brake lights in the back and the whites lights on in the front of the light bar. Thanks by the way your videos have helped my out sooooo much as I am new to the mod stuff and how to install them and such.

you said to back up the files, so i just copy and pasted the whole gta folder again in the common folder, and i can only run the original version, not the modded, is there a fix for that, or is there a different way to back it up?
so dont know what i am doing wrong, but i have tried 3 times putting a helicopter mod in, and changing the vehicle files the way you just did and also followed the read me exactly how it says and for the third time now when i boot up lspdfr it has a 15 minute update that wipes the helicopter mod i just put in, i am so frustrated please heeeelp

Anyway you could make a tutorial how to add multiple addon vehicles into one file? for example i download a Mercedes GT63 and a Mercedes A45 AMG. Then combine the handling.meta for both cars into one handling.meta file. Same for the other .meta files. Therefore its only ONE folder for all the addon vehicles? thanks in advance
hey, i tried downloading a BMW i8 mod and ever since i installed it, i wasn't able to play with the rest of my mods. i launch the game and it always crashes and shows "please reboot or restart the game". and i verified the integrity of game cache but it still doesn't work. i even went to asi manager in open and uninstalled and installed all 3 things. the file i think is fucked up is a file in update/update.rpf/common/data and its called gameconfig.xml. it might not be that file but I can't play GTA ever since that mod. PLZ HELP ME!
So, I ended up replacing sheriff2 with the ford explorer. Whenever I make a turn with the vehicle, it flips over. Where can I find the sheriff2 handling line? I tried searching for "sheriff2" instead of "police3" in the handling.meta file, but I could not find it. Help appreciated, Thanks!

Could you explain/show how to switch from LSPD SP game to a stock for MP online? I have 2 full GTA directories, one stock and 1 modded(mostly in mod folder as I have disk ver) Is it as simple as renaming the folders "grand theft auto V" and "Grand theft auto V - backup"? Can you just switch the names or is there another way? I tried quick linking to the playgta.exe in the stock folder but when I tried running that in SP mode I could still load 'simple trainer'. I want to play online but don't want to be banned for mods. Thanks for your help and vids. always great watching.

Hey Jeff, ok when I try to insert the file from my desk top after it has been edited it goes in as a plain text and not a meta or xml file. So in another words it creates a new file and does not replace one. Any suggestions?

Hey Jeff! Great video! I tried to do step by step on what you did. I'm trying to mod the Lazer to the F-16. I read the readme txt, i deleted the lazer+hi.ytd, I replaced it with the new files, I replaced the vehicle meta and the handling meta like you did in the video but the MB does not change. and when I close OpenIV and start up GTAV there is a Downloading menu that appears and when I spawn a Lazer in game it is still the same original Lazer. Any idea what I am doing wrong? Please it would be great if you could help!! Thank you so much!!

+Edgar the reason that custom cars can't enter Los Santos customs because you need to get a mods.rpf for that specific model. If it doesn't come with the vehicle you downloaded then you cannot mod them in Los Santos customs

Are you trying to enter with a custom car or original vehicles?
