I'm in east Orlando. Been a Floridian since 1988. Lived through countless tropical storms and hurricanes over the years. At 61 years of age, I am still in awe of mother nature when she is angry and needs to clean house. We are Floridians because we love our state. We love our warm weather and our incredible sunrises/sunsets. This is our home - and to live here, we understand that we sometimes have to pay the piper her dues to enjoy our section of paradise. Thank-you, Jeff for the ride along. Still blows my mind how detailed this stuff is. Just amazing.
Im in Sarasota and could be a direct hit, we are all prepped for Milton. Pray for us and wish us Luck! Love your vids Jeff! Thank you for taking some stress off the situation.
I had a great flight in a TBM930 in MSFS VR for a couple of hours when it was about four hours from landfall, felt like there were hundreds of other people flying around as well. Just amazing what the game re-creates, I had the wind vector enabled on the PFD and saw it get up to 88 knots. Flew back into St. Petersburg, zero vis of course, got down to about 100 feet and got punched out of the sky, was crazy. Of course being MSFS I could slew up again and go around and was fine next attempt.
One of my many cousin's is stationed down in Florida in the Military. My thought's and prayers to ALL who are goanna be and have been effected by these terrible storms down south. Love the content Jeff keep up the great work.
I just finished the same flight but a few hours later. Beyond ATC scoulded me for reporting extreme turbulence on a simulator. Said she would get her magic wand. I love this sim.
For 22:15: I believe the best way of finding the center would be to place the Wind arrow at your 9 O'Clock. In the northern hemisphere having the wind from the left always means you're flying into an area of lower air pressure.
These MSFS videos are excellent. I appreciate the variety you do on your channel Jeff Keep up the great work and have a great night, take care. Thoughts and prayers to those who are in the areas that the hurricane will hit.
Firstly I'd like to day I'm thinking of y'all in Florida as Milton moves, stay safe! That was an awesome flight Captain Jeff - editing style and music is definitely on point as usual, oh boy that up down drafts and tail wind was insane!
Jeff you would have had a blast doing some storm chasing here earlier today in Florida. Some monster ones. We’re getting a good deal of wind and rain here in Lake Wales (South Central Polk County). Have fun !
There is a good reason why Hurricane Watchers eg NOAA don’t fly into hurricanes in jet engined aircraft. 1. They might suffer from catastrophic “blow-back” from quantity of driven rainwater turbulence influx and then 2. Suffering from engine failure plus going too fast through turbulence can be catastrophic unless flying at extreme altitude . That’s why they fly powerful turboprops such as P3 Orion with its powerful Allison T56-A14 enduraznce engines, or C130. Get with the realism programme!
This was an awesome video I enjoyed this alot and loved it and they are saying that milton is now a cat 5 hurricane and they had tampa and other areas like st Pete and stuff they had mandatory evacuations in place. They are saying this thing is gonna be pretty bad and that the storm surge is gonne be deadly and tampa is gonna get hit pretty hard and I'm in orlando and we gonna get some of it too but not as bad as tampa is gonna get it tampa is a direct hit. Anyway thanks for keeping all of us in ur thoughts and thanks for thinking of everybody. Currently as of right now Hurricane Milton is considered category 6 so it did go up plus after that we have three more Hurricanes to deal with after this one. Also the third hurricane incoming followed by the others looks to be the worst storm ever since it's larger built size My sister last night showed me so that's how I know this. Stay safe and best of luck out there everyone .
I just got back from a surf. Will be out there streaming and surfing with my surfing headset go-pro Star Link live during the worst of it. Hope to bring some sweet vids while I live! Be wearing full kevlar space suit with O2 tanks rates for 5000 kT TNT.

Awesome video. You can really get the feel of the hurricane. On a sidenote: When replaying the landing, how do you manage to keep the movements so smooth? I always get them jerky, especially the zooms. Any trick to it?
so I failed on this one but I was just hand using the drone cam. Now I figured out how to get things even better. You just reset the showcase cam lock to the airplane and turn off follow mode. Move the camera where you want like where the airplane touches down off to the side. Zoom in and you will notice the airplane is not in the shot, turn off the lock mode and tilt the camera down with the drone and then lock it again. Once you have that down you are golden, in my recent video with the C-130 I did it via this method and I love the results.
Now, who in their right mind, would fly a business jet through a Hurricane??!! Oh yeah, sorry, Jeff Favignano would!!! Let's pray we all live through this.
