I can't believe this is someone playing along. It's so accaurate that if I couldn't see it I would swear that's Holdsworth. All of the solos on your page are my favorite. Holdsworth from 16 men of Tain, None to soon, also Brecker peep, nothing personal, slings and arrows. Also I can't thank you enough. I never thought I could come anywhere near being able to play this stuff but after being able to watch someone play it and hear it I feel I'm starting to get this stuff into my own playing. Thank you for sharing these vids. You're really are a master.
Amazing you could replicate all that without (it seems) a mistake. What is more amazing is how Alan Holdsworth could think to play that way in the first place. Seems one key to his speed and intervals is simply the long stretching of his fingers and playing wider intervals merely on one string most times and using less strings with wider stretches instead of sweep picking. Amazing fidelity to the original solo!

Je pense "Point of No Return" est pas mal pour commencer. J'ai une video sur ma chaine. Le solo contient beaucoup d'idees typiques de son jeu.
