Early Summer Garden Update | Container Vegetable Gardening

The first day of summer is quickly approaching. Our warm season veggies were planted four weeks ago, and our cool season veggies are slowly coming to an end. In this video, I update how the plants are growing and show the progress of my new trellising system.

Awesome tour of your container garden! Do you have a video discussing how you keep everything watered? I didn't notice any drip emitters in your containers so I'm assuming you water by hand?

Thank you! No, I don’t have a video about watering but now that you mention it, I should. I water by hand once every 2-3 days during the summer and 1-2 times a week during cooler months. I enjoy watering by hand because it keeps me engaged with the garden. Besides, the garden is small so watering doesn’t take long.

really nice garden well done. But i feel like you need a lot of time watering all these pots. Don t you use automatic irrigation?

Thank you. I actually prefer hand watering the pots. Since the pots are mulched, I only need to water every 2-3 days. It takes about 10 minutes.
