  • Mealybugs are small insects that are wrapped in a fuzzy-looking white film. These bugs can usually be seen on the underside of dracaena leaves, and can also congregate on the trunk of the plant.
In this video, recorded live at one of the Stems' client's offices, Hella shows us how to treat a Dracaena Marginata that has been infested with mealybugs and gives advice on how to deal with them.

This worked for my mum but not for me. I have some terminator type mealy buys, I have been cleaning my plant weekly with varying amounts of dishsoap, varying amounts of alcohol, I got to the point where I was cleaning them every other day for over 3 weeks and still 6 months later the nasty things have come back! It is a much smaller plant than you showed on the video here and I am worried about if it will survive the onslaught. Though I never got such a bad infestation as on those plants. Thanks for the video though. Informative and interesting to see.
