This worked for my mum but not for me. I have some terminator type mealy buys, I have been cleaning my plant weekly with varying amounts of dishsoap, varying amounts of alcohol, I got to the point where I was cleaning them every other day for over 3 weeks and still 6 months later the nasty things have come back! It is a much smaller plant than you showed on the video here and I am worried about if it will survive the onslaught. Though I never got such a bad infestation as on those plants. Thanks for the video though. Informative and interesting to see.

Did I hear you're putting the old one in the compost pile? No. It was still a healthy plant. Find someone to take it.
We do give old plants away all the time when someone asks, or we find new homes for them, if we feel they will rejuvenate under better circumstances. However, some plants are just too far gone.
