I love what you said about having to charge more, because the time it takes. I learned in 2004 when I got out of prison, from a lady that I met at sweat lodge, it was years later that I figured out that she kept me from having an "idle mind" and kept me from getting in trouble. I've never been back to jail, and Yes I did turned my life around. Thank you for a refresher on this style. I still do some kind of bead work, mostly loom work.
    Thank you

Melissa you are so enjoying to watch. I am self taught beader. Old white woman that married a Menominee from WI. Peyote stitch is what I use often. I bead for my son, for his regalia. He is a grass dancer. I love doing embroidery beading. Beading is so relaxing for me. Your encourage words or words of wisdom was what I needed to hear today. Thank you kindly. This is my first time viewing you and I am full bell follower now. 😊 ❤
Kind regards and blessings. Mary from Wisconsin USA

I’m a new beader and slowly finding my preference, I sure like this stitch. I’ve attempted the bead wrap on parachord but I can get my stitch tight enough! But anyway, I’ve just TH-cam’d how to do all my beadwork. I enjoy the little details and dedication that goes into any sort of beadwork. I love getting lost in beading. Anyway, I think I’m going to give this a shot! I loved your detailed steps and side commentary. It’s always fun to talk and bead and get into your groove. Thanks for sharing!

Just came across your video, I must say as a beader myself, it is true when you say we take the time to unknot a knot, no matter how difficult the knot is, I think most beaders have the determination to make it right, great job on the tutorial...trust me...using the word knot more than once in a sentence can get redundant but it has to be said..lol

I learned this when I was really young, like 6 or 7. Both my mom and aunt bead. My aunt taught me how to do it with 2 beads every hop though? I think my mom only does one bead at a time and I didn’t have the patience for it at such a you g age. I only made a keychain and then felt accomplished and never tried it again. I wish I would have stuck with it! Now I have to learn again

I didn’t look into lanyard work and what I should get for supplies. I completely winged it. I have ready made neck lanyards and it was a 20pk not a 10. They’re also flat not a rope. Hahah 🤦🏻‍♀️
Most people I know are making earrings and I wanted to try something different! I was inspired by your beaded hoops video of the turquoise blue. I’m passed my half way point! It’s taking forever and I’m thinking of finding tools to make the length shorter for future lanyards! 😊
