Nice to see you back on the SWCP. Inspired by yourself and others, I managed to complete the whole path last year. I did Babbacombe Cricket Club to Dawlish Warren on my thru hike. The previous day I walked Brixham to Babbacombe and bussed it to Shaldon and stayed in Longmeadow farm too. I managed to camp near a bees nest first before moving. Next day bus back to Babbacombe. The part of the path before the cliff railway was closed (6:56) so I had to drop down to the beach. Then there was a fallen tree on the path after the cliff railway. Great memories though. Also love that bit of woodland (7:22), it's so serene there. All the best for the rest of the trek!!
Couldn't agree more its a great reminisce. That was one of the main reasons for filming my hike.. as my memory is terrible, i wanted to be able to look back on it....
Been looking forward to this! Glad you’re back out! I also have been ranting about dog walkers and their disgusting habits in my stuff as well. Keep it up! I’ve missed your stuff!
Welcome back fella, time to put this trail to bed. You and a couple of others inspired me to get out there and complete the trail two years back now. Looking forward to watching your final push. Ps. I also love a rant, better out than in!
Lovely video. Take care of your ankle. I severely twisted my ankle in January and limped for several weeks and that also had a negative effect on my pelvis area. I got some great tips and exercises from a physiotherapist, and I buildt new muscles in my ankles and I am stronger than before 😊 Hope you get better soon. Looking forward to watching more videos 😊
@@gonehiking9297 Thank you! I am actually doing better than in a long time. I have sprained in total 7 ankles pretty severely and 2 ankles medium severely during my life, starting in 1971... 😄 For the first time now I got some very good targeted exercises from my physiotherapist and they worked like a charm. I feel that I can trust my feet again 🙂 I hope you get 100% well soon.
Can’t beat a good old rant, then a walk and a pint to recharge 🍺😎 great to have you back 🙌🤩
Thanks alot..the rant went on a while, seriously edited down..

Good to see you back. I've missed your moaning 🙂
Ha ha, not too much moaning after this only, only about the hills!
In a few years you could probably start the King Charles III England Coast Path. Only about 2,100 more miles.
That would be something. I think i i had that much time i would go for the PCT...
Crevice 😂
Love a good crevice!!! Haha
