RC Nitro Engine Fix - HPI T3.0 G3.0 etc
Starter not engaging, NOT ONE WAY BEARING!
Here is how I fixed an issue with the starter shafting spinning but not engaging the motor crank. I was worried the crank shaft snapped inside because that's what it felt like!
The engine is an HPI T3.0 or G3.0 commonly found in many HPI Nitro cars: Bullet, RS4, Firestorm, MT2 but may apply to other Nitro engines or RC's that use the same style of engagement.

Worked !!! Some aren’t as easy as this but it works . I used a heat gun and wd40 with nitro fuel while it was hot . Dug around it with a pick tool and I watched it ease out . Thanks !!

Found them, Both needles flush at top of screw. 1mm idle gap

Possibly, it would be best to find the manual or parts diagram for your specific engine .. good luck! 👍
