Thank you for the tutorial and all the good explanations. As far as I understood from other comments, you kept the Blue&Me (BM) device to avoid any CAN bus proxi alignment or modifications. If this is the case, how did you recognize and connect the original external microphone? I understand this mic goes to the BM. The same for any original USB port that the car could have and you want to keep. Furthermore, are there any conflicts with the steering wheel buttons when you keep the BM? For instance, when you press the button located at left down in the left side of the steering wheel (the one of the BM voice), is it functioning for which you have customized it in the new radio or does it still works for BM purposes?

Hello @arcgarage! My question will be a bit off topic. I would like to install a rear dash cam. Where did you run the cable of the rear camera from the Head unit until the rear light? Thanks!
Hi, mounted it on rear bumper, cable went through number plate light into the boot through wire access hole, there it is connected to few wires, and I ran it underneath the plastic trim all the way to the front
I ran the power to pioneer double din from lighter socket and the connects 2 kit works great for steering control just needed earthing off and jack plugged into back of headunit took around 3 hours altogether including losing my tools all the time 😅
I removed blue&me completely (and did the proxy alignment), buttons work perfectly with new head unit which has all of the phone connecting capabilities
I currently have a 10inch screen ready to go in, but i am facing an issue i have never seen before. I'll try and explain as best as i can... When the original radio is in it is fine, but as soon as the new 10inch radio is in, it has no power whatsoever. I have seen a simple radio adaptor like the one seen in the fascia box, would this be a fix and help the radio to power on if i was to install the adaptor? I really hope this makes sense :)
