This loose twist thing in GENIUS! It's like braids and locs and MY hair all at the same time. I can still be versatile, low maintenance, commitment free and cute all at the same time???!!! Yes. Ma'am.
I now have my hair l like this because of your original video. I get so many compliments and I dont have to deal with trying to figure out styles, daily
I wash my hair once every 4 weeks but I moisturize and retwist every 2-3 days because I like the fresh twisted look. I retain pretty good but I know that if I did my hair more like your regimen, I would have much better results. I will be trying it soon. Thanks for sharing!
Your hair is just like mine, except my kinky kinky hair is in the front and constantly breaks off. It is encouraging to see other ppl with our beautiful thick texture and making it work. I have loose twist in too
Where have you been all this time. I f-i-n-a-l-l-y understand how Cirianna Quann and TK Wonder do their twists. Will be definitely trying. Thanks a BILLION for caring to share.
I am absolutely loving the loose twists. (Great idea and video!) I am thinking about trying them, but my hair is much shorter than yours so I am not sure how it will look.
I love your videos. If you can please do some makeup tutorials. You always look fierce. You look sooooo young when you took your hair down. Will try this for the summer.
Thanks for the video Ms. Tanish! Your hair has really grown so beautifully! I luv your unique style of dress and hair. Def' one of my favorite naturalistas! :)
I really love your channel. Very imformative. You inspire me to keep going on my heair growth journey. I love styled, coifed hair so I get tmpted to cut (again) because it's in that awkward stage, but through protective styling for the rest of the year (started in jan with a few breaks in between) and maybe first part of next year I should be able to get some more healthy length. Thanks
I was doing the bungee holders all wrong! I'm getting a protective style done this weekend and I'm going to go right to Sally's and buy another package so I can rock up-do's. Thank you!
7 weeks??! wow!I can't keep my twists for more then 2 weeks. After this amount of time, it's impossible to moisturize my hair. I have to wash it... I wish I could do like you because you seem to have great results! Your hair is beautiful!
+Paris Patterson Thank you I want to try these on my little sister, once she takes out her box braids and myself once I take out my week protective style.
+Njeko Nwakile your welcome you should try them they are a big help with protecting your hair and especially when you don't want do nun to your hair ..... you can style as you please
Very informative and helpful. Thanks going to start trying the loose twist more. With my hair texture they appear frizzy all the time, so I'm trying to get over that. I hate frizz
Those ponytail hooks are the business. I saw a video a year ago that you use them in and they I love them for my box braids. It's painful and sometime impossible to pull braids up into a ponytail and ghee work magic. They r also very strong. I've yet to break one.
Did you say you wore your hair out for ten days or 2 days? Girl If I wore my hair out for 10 days it would be wrecked! lol. I really want to try these loose twists but I feel like my hair would be super duper frizzy after moisturizing it.
After she took down her "main" protective hairstyle and retwisted her hair on dirty hair..... So the dirty twisted hair is what she did for an additional 10 days..... :)
Your hair is doing wonderfully queen...since you don't have color anymore and I remember the acv that ate up the top of your head....lol.....how is your mom's journey going?....you have come a long long way queen.....I am gonna have to break down and get some of that qhemet biologics....thanks for the vid girl
T I don't know what it is that damn ponytail holder. I had a three pack of them , and my weak hands COULDN'T get it tied to save my life!!! I really want to love them, but I have the hand strength of a geriatric :(
I just watched a video by Naptural85 she goes into detail & gives a visual on exactly how to get a twist to not be frizzy or unravel. The video is called. Quick Mini Twist Tips and Techniques "Natural Hair". I have the same problem so im going to try using her advice on technique to see if it helps me get a nice twist.
@mstanish1 YOUR HAIR IS BEAUTIFUL!!! Sorry for screaming but I feel passionate about this. :) Thanks for sharing. This will be my new routine when I remove these kinky twists!
Yes. Nothing has really happened with them. I was waiting until I got my coil spring so they make room to the bottom and can put the snaggletooth in the brackets.
Your hair looks nice. Can you do a video on how to do these loose twists. What is your hair length. I'm trying to see how much hair I need to achieve this style. Lol
Thank you for the tutorial on moisturizing protective styles. Your hair looks amazing in those twists up dos and buns. Your hair holds twists very well. I would love to try this. How many twists did you have do for this style?
After you use it seveal times they stretch out a lot. It don't take a lot of hand strength. Just hook in a secure place in your hair, wrap until you can't any more and hook other end in secure place in hair. I hope your not trying to hook the two hooks together I like did when I first got them. I don't even know how your steal dealing with hair scrunchies with all the hair you have. When I would try to stretch my scrunchies they'd pop. Lol.
The kinkiest part of my hair is the front edges I even have growth issues there strangely the back of my hair is the least kinky I don't know what to do ahout my broken edges just don't seem to grow:( And your hair is beautifal looks so healthy :)
Nice styles very creative. Do you think you could show exactly how much water & other product you use in your hair ? I need help in the technique department. AKA Moisturizing hair for dummies is more of an appropriate title for what I need. LOL. Maybe you could slow down one of these times you moisturized your hair. I know I apply too much product to my hair to moisturize it, one of my box braids fell out of my hair when I got done. I know its suppose to be damp & not wet but.. dummy proof it
Hi mstanish1 I'm unaware of the QB's butter twist. The alma cream is the only one I've tried so far and has been a favorite for me. Do you like the butter twist better than the amla heavy cream?
soooo if its not too much trouble...can you list the lipsticks that you wear in your vids in the description box *bats eyelashes* pretty please! and great hair...i shall go through your vids for a tutorial on the loose twists
This loose twist thing in GENIUS! It's like braids and locs and MY hair all at the same time. I can still be versatile, low maintenance, commitment free and cute all at the same time???!!! Yes. Ma'am.
Mama With A Fro It is very genius, I agree! I’m really enjoying the loc look without having to actually loc my hair!
They look like locs!!!!😍
Is it just me or were they still gorgeous at the end of week 5? Drool!

I wash my hair once every 4 weeks but I moisturize and retwist every 2-3 days because I like the fresh twisted look. I retain pretty good but I know that if I did my hair more like your regimen, I would have much better results.
I will be trying it soon. Thanks for sharing!
I love protective styles...that's how I got through my transition and now that I'm natural...I do it as well. It allows my hair to retain length.
Wow this was amazing, I feel like such a styling slacker now LOL you are so creative!
4C hair thats is well groomed is just beautiful. Its worth the effort.
Your hair is just like mine, except my kinky kinky hair is in the front and constantly breaks off. It is encouraging to see other ppl with our beautiful thick texture and making it work. I have loose twist in too

Great job maintaining your styles! When I wear twists and re moisturize them;they always get frizzy!
Where have you been all this time. I f-i-n-a-l-l-y understand how Cirianna Quann and TK Wonder do their twists. Will be definitely trying. Thanks a BILLION for caring to share.

I'm reading the comments and don't see where you answered any of the ladies questions in regards to how often you moisturize...once a week or daily?
Based on the video, she moisturize her hair on a weekly basis.

After you use it seveal times they stretch out a lot. It don't take a lot of hand strength.
