- One week in Sweden with a lot of skiing.
I skied for a week straight, maybe I'll dial it down a bit this week. 3-4 days of skiing seems to be the sweet spot for me personally. Although it is fun so I might as well add a day or two to that estimate.

Loved this video! Very impressive workout for the week too. I used to ski the many kilometers of groomed and lighted trails outside Trondheim, Norway very late at night most of the time. Magical in the moonlight and after one more heavy snow. Maybe not too smart, however, since I once came upon a wolf eating from a garbage can outside a warming hut. Got out of there but fast! Ha det so bra!

There's something special about being out there on the snow when it's dark outside. Especially with the moonlight....but luckily there's no wolfs around here I think haha. Good thing you came out of that experience unscathed 😅
Love your videos. You remind me of my son who also had to wait forever during the pandemic to let his wife come from China. My Mormor was born in Borås but I have never been there (she emigrated to the US as a child). Maybe someday. I'm coming to Sweden next month to do the Vasaloppet. Since there are only 15,800 starters, I am sure I will run into you at the start line😁

Yea covid was difficult for a lot of us, for everyone's sake let's hope that won't happen again for a while.
You haven't missed too much by not coming to Borås, there are far more interesting towns in Sweden hehe. But during the right days it is still quite nice here.

Snyggt jobbat! Just landed in this channel bc I’m also gonna do Vasaloppet this year. This video is quite useful for a neeby like me to know more xc ski tracks! Just wondering why you didn’t go Ulricehamn, that’s the best in the area if I’m not mistaken 😊

Ulricehamn does indeed have more ski tracks, but to me Borås is just fine, especially since it takes me less than 10 minutes to get to any of the ski locations here. Ulricehamn would be a 35 minute drive. After work I just wanna get out and ski as quickly as possible.
