I have travelled the world over and can say with some certainty Pakistani Craftsman, builders, maymars, architect and labourers produce some of the most beautiful houses in the world. I am very surprised with level of decor and draperies and furniture matching in style and elegance , though sometimes too gaudy for my taste. This house lacks windows for natural light which is very very important for human health and this house doesn’t follow any design rules, its just a collection of highly detailed fancy stuff which is not pleasing to the eye at all.
True, looks like designers tried to cram in every bling stuff he could find.
Nowadays minimalistic design language is preferred with straight lines and solid colors.
@@hyder404 Yes, nowadays the modern architecture is different from any type of conventional architecture in history. But it depends on the designer what kind of look he is going for, and spanish, classical or victorian architecture etc. all are timeless and look stunning even today but only if the designer knows how to pull them off in the designs, but the above is surely a very bad example to take any reference from. the designer has used every trick in the book but still couldnt make a good impression of his creativity.

@@hyder404 lol, my taya has a similar basement in his house and it is really useful. He uses that space for his office and all the family's mehandi's and eid dinners are arranged their to save money. One of my father's friend constructs homes in dha lahore, he has been doing it for the past 12 years and he says that we never take risks with the designs that we make because the buyers are so unpredictable and they reject homes for absurd reasons. so he always construct homes that could easily be sold and their designs are according to the needs of the market. And i think he is right because when you invest so much money in something, you tend to avoid taking risks just to protect your investment and time.
