@LisaKEntertainment we have a pumpkinfest with many similar events you highlighted with one exception...at night they illuminate the "WALL OF PUMPKINS"..which is a multiple racked framework holding pumpkins side by side. About 50 ft wide and 12 feet tall! And there are lights behind each one.
Très amusant ! The face painter is really talented ! One should never take life too seriously, it takes the joy out of it. Children can teach us a lot sometimes ! At my work place we have a staff pumpkin decorating party every year, it just melts the stress away and everyone has a good time. encore un petit plaisir ! Felix

You know, picking out a pumpkin for Halloween can be just as stressful as picking out a Christmas tree! Just like you want that perfect inverted ice cream cone shape on a Christmas tree you want that perfect, plump, round, orange, "punkin-y lookin'" pumpkin for Halloween and go nuts trying to pick one out! I'd have a nervous breakdown looking at all those pumpkins at that Irvine Park festival! "What do I DO?" Thanks for bringing us along Lisa! You've really got a knack for finding fun places to go!
Hi Lisa, Sadly the holidays are so different now. But I still enjoy them. Also, it is so cool to see how big they can grow the pumpkins every year and the food is so good.

The first year I planted pumpkins in my garden, I had oodles and boodles of pumpkins all over my back yard! I finally moved them all out front and gave them away to anyone who wanted one…. or two or three!

I was watching another video where you mentioned your dad being in North Carolina and thought oh my I hope everything is ok with him. Praying for all of them back there, I am in Central California, transplanted from Southern California.
@@DJPLAST2 I very much appreciate that thoughtful question. All of my family and friends are all right, considering. Some have evacuated out of the area. No one’s home was destroyed that I know of, but a very, very close call for them, and obviously so many have lost their lives. My dad said today, people are coming in the store with heavy hearts, talking about the whole situation. I have friends that have organized donations and are bringing a truck full of things to the area. Access to the area is a challenge, though. I have an episode in my nice to meet you with Lisa playlist of a dirty dancing festival and Lake Lure… my dad mentioned today that Lake lure has boats sitting on top of one another and it is a complete mess. Very different than what you’ll see in my episode, sadly.
I drove a train identical to that one for eight months, back in St. Louis - the St. Louis Zoo Line Railroad, to be precise. Fun times, until vapor lock started messing with the motive power in hot weather! Seemed like we cornered the market on Gumout and Sunoco 260 Octane Boost that summer........
@@stevemellin5806 My dad has had a train store for thirty years. There are some episodes there… We went on a train trip or two as kids and were around model trains a lot at home 👍 And I worked with him in his shop some in recent years.
@@stevemellin5806 coincidentally, I just discovered today that there are over 600 Lionel dealers! I couldn’t believe it. Train and hobby stores in the United States, Canada and the UK. but yes, it feels like such a gem when you stumble across a train store these days.
