I gave up on Tom Ford Beauty. I find the quality can be hit or miss but also I've had problems with products like their lipsticks turning before the three month mark. At the price point, that shouldn't be happening. I feel like there are so many great foundations on the market in every prince range, I'm not even tempted to try this. I finally picked up a bottle of the Armani Luminous Silk foundation and I get why people rave about it.
Or the Koh Gen Do Aqua Foundation for that matter. This replaced the GA Luminous Silk Foundation for me. For a higher, matte coverage I adore the GA Power Fabric Plus Foundation, which got reformulated.

Stunning!! I do love the prada as well. Tania i ordered the dior hilghting blush in rosy. I'm glad i asked you cuz i had peachy in my cart but that looks a bit more lighter and icy. It may be beautiful over my peach blushes but I'm excited to try the rosy. ❤

That base looks beautiful on you. I don’t wear base. I generally only need a tinted SPF, but I’ve seen several reviews on this foundation, and it is gorgeous.
It's so nice that you get to take your children to the pool and be outside with them in the summer! I was so fortunate to do these things with my son while he was growing up. I thank God for these mrmories. 😊❤✝️

You and I are usually shade matches, and I found last summer 5.1 Cool Almond was my perfect match. I use 2.7 Vellum in the winter, but usually have to mix it to deepen it just a bit.
Hi dear Tania, what a super good review about this foundation, so detailed, thanks so much!!!🤩🤩🤩🤩I have a bad reaction to the TF foundations because of the lavender oil in the ingredients, which are AGAIN in this, i agree with you, too expensive foundation. Don't get me wrong, it looks gorgeous on you, as well as all other makeup, Tania, but when i COULD handle the ingredients....indeed there are other foundations that are really good! Thanks for your review! I was really hoping you will review this one because I swatched some shades at Nordstrom and the color that I use is much darker. I use original soft matte 2.7 and the new one in that shade is much darker. So I really hoped you found your shade that you can recommend. Just to let you know you look gorgeous!

I also could never find the perfect shade with Tom Ford and I am warm gold, medium light skin. I also gave up on the foundation with them but I do love love love their eyeshadows.

Tanya, I think you would be a cool rose in the TF foundation as it does run yellow….. Finally started tanning again, I can’t wait to wear my darker foundations.
I got the same shade and it is yellow and deep for me too now but should work in summer when I get a tan 🤞🙏🏼

I truly believe $150 for a foundation is unfathomable lol like that’s ridiculous! My holy grail is my Haus Labs foundation and I’ve worn that for 18 hours and it still looks amazing and it’s $45 😂

I’ve been really liking it. The more I wear it the more I like it
I am the same shade as you in foundations and the 4.0 Fawn is my summer shade as well. The 2.7 Vellum is my winter shade. That IT Cosmetics brush is👌for blending out full coverage foundations. I am getting pickier about makeup that doesn't set down so I think I would like this for my humid climate, given it still has a luminosity. I was hoping they were removing the scent from the reformulations so unfortunately that's a no for me. You do look expensive with that movie star skin and red carpet hair 🤩

I contacted Tom Ford UK directly, they said traceless soft matte fluid and stick foundations are now discontinued
The foundation looks beautiful from start to finish. And you look amazing. 150 dollars is crazy. I’ll watch out for this and if i see it somewhere irl i’ll try to find a shade match (i am smidge lighter than you).

I hated the shade and illuminate it brought out texture I didn’t even know I had, tried it with so many different products it just looked like a greasy mess on me which sucks being it’s so expensive, I love a soft matte so will def be trying this out…. I think it might be comparable to the GA luminous silk maybe hmm. SUMMER FRIDAY BIRTHDAY CAKE IS BACK IN STOCK I snagged two, I wanted four but wanted others to get to try it, I wanted to be greedy but I played nice as I love it SO YUMMY !!!!

I have only had one problem with TF and that was a limited edition eyeshadow palette that really wasn’t up to much at all..love all the foundations and lipsticks, one thing though, they are to be worn so, if you ain’t going to wear them til they are gone, get less expensive products, Armani are great.❤

I don’t think I put an SPF under in this video because I wanted to test it out by itself. However, I have been wearing the foundation with SPF under and I haven’t had an issue with it.

I don’t think it would. At the moment I don’t have a ton of dry patches or texture to test it out on, but based on the texture I wouldn’t expect this to emphasize texture.

The entire glowish line is going out of business fyi. I know the sale is over now but better stock up on any glowish products before they are gone forever.
That sucks. I will say the one product that I absolutely love was the blurring primer. The rest was just ok for me
Does that include the blur jam because I noticed it never went on sale at Sephora like the rest of the Glowish line. It’s also their best seller I believe, I can’t see them pulling that product

I love the Cle de peau radiant matte better. I’m going to pick it up next time. It’s on sale at Nordstrom.
I only have the radiant natural from Cle De Peau and that one has lighter coverage, because of that and my shade matches better than Tom Ford, I would go with the Cle de peau. ❤️

Transfer proof with that radiance is a big selling point. I feel like other bases I have with that finish always feel tacky even after setting with powder and it drives me nuts.
Oh me too! I just wrote this. For some reason I can no longer stand foundations that I can still feel. I used to only wear glowy ones but now they drive me crazy from not setting down. That's why I am loving the new Lisa Eldridge skin tint. You can't feel it at ALL!
@@AllyKit I like self-setting formulas. I have allergies so I’m itching my face constantly. And somehow I also always get eyelashes or other fibers/hairs stuck to my face while I’m blending that need to be brushed away. So I’m constantly going back to cover up areas that have lifted. But I also like a more radiant finish because my cheeks are dry and crepey. 🤦♀️

@@AllyKit Yes! I can’t stand the feeling of hair stuck to my face. It didn’t seem like a problem when I was younger but now that I use more hydrating products it’s like a never ending battle.

I love Tom Ford but they are not shade inclusive to us cool toned gals. 5.1 cool almond has the perfect undertone but I need it about 3-4 deeper and they just have no medium to medium tan cool/pink shades. Makes me so sad I have two bottles of Traceless in 5.1 and 5.7 and can’t wear either.
Also. We need a hair tutorial like yesterday.

I’ve been waiting for this. I bought it and actually returned it so I’m curious to see your review. I found it to be too drying and would get patchy in some parts of my face. I gave it a try for a week with different primers and could not get it to work for that price, I am going back to my Prada and Chanel. I did buy his new primer which I love the light pink one with sunscreen in it that’s fantastic.
That is so interesting. On me, it was almost a little bit too luminous for a matte foundation.
@@TaniaBWells it looks stunning on you. Maybe I should try his other one the shade and illuminate but I do love the new primer. It’s absolutely fantastic. It’s in the same type of bottle as the new architecture foundation. I got it at Nordstrom if you’re looking for it it’s stunning and it has SPF.
Lisa Eldrige's foundation is nicer and is in the $45USD range.

I heard a lot of people loving the LV foundation. It was ok on me but not my favorite. A bit too dry for me, but I do have dry skin.

I want to look like a walking filter at that price point. If I don’t, then it’s not worth my time. Tons of great cheaper foundations on the market to enjoy.
I find it insulting that cosmetic companies charge this outrageous amount of money for a bottle of foundation. If people wouldn't get sucked into their hype maybe they would stop making fools out of the consumer. Tom Ford is a brand I refuse to buy for this reason.

Have u tried the Sephora Glow concealer??? I got it yesterday in store… it’s like a tinted eye cream I have never found a concealer like it plumped up my wrinkles no crinkles no setting powder no creasing … perfect natural finish… actually made my under eyes look better!!! 😱😱😱🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍 I really hope they make a foundation in this formula it’s perfection!!!!!
