I am an online watcher and was so disappointed on Sunday… I pray every week starting on Monday for God to prepare my heart and mind for his word on Sunday. I come every Sunday ready for worship (because I worship and praise all week, living out my faith), I wasn’t sure what the second half of the service was on Sunday. I believe in the spirit of God moving in a service with praise, that is not what I witnessed. I witnessed confusion, people were being encouraged to come on a stage, the pastor emotionally pleading for people to come for prayer and a man shows up on the stage displaying a satanic hand symbol over people who where innocently just coming to an alter for prayer. I am sure they did not realize someone was on the stage on national TV with a satanic hand symbol over their heads. That reminded me of 1 Samuel 5, knowing whoever that person is, trying to bring another god in God’s house will fail, the optics just look horrible (please review the tape, you would agree). I will continue praying for Oak Cliff, the Pastors and Staff, because I know there is a solid foundation there. I have listened to Dr. Evans radio ministry for close to 30 years, if not more which has increased my knowledge and love for God, His word and His people.
I must say it gets very difficult to continue resume watching . If Dr Evans would allow tp be seen in the audience this would help knowing he is alright. The utube videos are decreasing about him that's good. But there is just a void that's only fair to be open to the supporters. Pray for supporter.
I'm curious how the church will continue now summer break is over. They have lost at least 20k online viewers I've noticed. But I'm happy for the physical church attenders to be able to move forward. I assume some have left. I just hope and pray it continues in a positive direction. Perhaps he was missing due to Steve Lawson situation? Or Dr. Evans is ill, on vacation or just went to 1st service. I see glimpses of him on IG here and there.
OH MY GOODNESS! Too many Christians being deceived and lacking discernment. This Pastor has always been emotionally manipulative of the congregation. Praying for OCBF because they better get someone else in charge of this church fast, before the whole church goes down like a sunken ship! Out of control telling the people to come up on stage? Why?? - He is taking advantage of people hurting and in need of prayer and for God to move on their behalf. Notice he went to Psalm 1 and tried to preach something. He runs on pulling people's emotional strings. This is the devil's business while Dr. Evans hands are tied. Gibson reminds me of that kind of pastor that didn't have a sermon ready - so he went into emotional manipulation. God help this church and Dr. Evans.🙏
Be careful how you speak about something you clearly have no clue about. It’s foolish of you to assume he didn’t have a message. He preached that message in the 1st service and flowed with the spirit that was moving through praise and worship in the 2nd service. The broadcast did the no justice the actual movement that was happening in person. Be blessed!
