Was so thankful for God's mercy and goodness to us, happy tears all morning, then quiet joy. But recognizing the divided climate we are in, I feel compelled to continue, to pray for protection and safety for our country and our newly elected leaders. I live in Virginia and I prayed with the rest of the body regarding the election. To be honest I wasn’t quit sure as how to approach our Father. With the leading of the Holy Spirit, I just asked not our will, but His will be done and hope to understand respect the outcome. When I woke up this morning I must say I was relieved with the outcome. I must confess that I didn’t see victory as being merciful on His behalf. Thank you for presenting this victory in that fashion. That is a very humbling way and the only way to truly be thankful from the heart. When one reads Daniel and he includes himself when repenting on behalf of the sins of Israel, I have a difficult time forgiving myself even though I know I have been forgiven for participating in the slow death of our nation prior to committing myself to Him. I have been walking with the Lord now for over 50+ years and still feel unworthy. Blessings Pastor Allen and thank you again so very much for sharing your perspective
If you believe in democracy then you should allow democracy to work as both democrats and Republicans voted to allow Trump to be president. God chooses the leaders of the countries as written in scripture. Romans 13 1-2 Democracy is often said to mean 'rule by the people'. We are to do our civic duty as temp citizens of this foreign homeland but we must always remember that we are permanent citizens of the Kingdom of God and He is our King, Lord, Savior, EVERYTHING. I prayed for 4 years delay in judgement to allow us to turn this nation back to him. I reminded him of Nineveh and I believe in his mercy, he granted that and we have a job to do. We share him and his word with everyone.
Before I heard the news on the election, I awakened around 3:30 to pray. I found myself praying to see more of Christ: more of what y redemption cost Him, more of Him being my treasure, more of Him being my reward . I found a deep hunger in me for Him.I asked Him to teach me more that I would be filled to overflowing with love and obedience to Him. Then I prayed He would purge His church of wokism, false teachers, wrong definitions about His love,grace and mercy. That He would teach us the “ fear” of the Lord that we would have true knowledge. My prayer, in other words was not about America, but for His body on the earth. We must use this time to advance the gospel.
Yes Pastor, feeling the compassion of our Lord with assisting Pres. Elect Trump with this, his first 4 yrs., his life saved a few times, and now with this success. I believe Jesus wants all our prayers now in thanks to Him for his kindness and help to save us all and our great country. He uses Trump as His earthly instrument. Love this. I don’t think I’ve ever been more relieved and joyous after an election. Just the sheer way that tides were completely turned that no election interference ie; hanging Chads or tampered ballot boxes, or seemingly anything that might turn the election the other way happened! God showed up mightily and it was clear that THIS WAS A GOD THING! Habakkuk 3:2 2 Lord, I have heard of your fame; I stand in awe of your deeds, Lord. Repeat them in our day, in our time make them known; in wrath remember mercy. God showed up mightily just in the sheer magnitude of this election and the control garnered in both the House of Representatives and the Senate! I was so angry about how the representative at the polls handled my voting information openly in which the Democratic party destroyed, and gave me another voting form, destroying number 57, replacing my ballet number. Lord, I felt betrayed leaving the voting site where the Lukewarm churches operate. But God your Amazing Grace, and made a way out of no way. You are not partial! We seek you faith and have been praying without ceasing for three and a half years, of political unrest. 🤰🇺🇸🆘
