Awesome presentation @rowan - I found this work really interesting with my numerous inner child, addiction, disowned selves/ archetypal shadow-work, emotional sobriety, etc. 🥰 12-step work and bioenergetics character and somatic exercises.
Thanks for this. I have worked with Hal and Sidra many years ago. I have a great mentor, Ana Barner who has been a great help to me. It is always good to go over the basics again. Thanks
@@rowangarlow keep in touch, I have been facilitating now for 30years. I use the technique in my Osteopathic clinic in Sydney. Exceptional responses. Would love to hear more about your work. Thanks Steve Grant
Very well explained!! I am learning this method in my integrative holistic breathing therapy training and I love this method so much!!! We primarily use breathwork, then voice dialogue, inner child work, the work and embodiment ☺️
In Jungian terms, primary selves sound like complexes; disowned selves sounds like shadow. The aware ego, the transcendent function. The dialoging also sounds like Gestalt therapy.
Thanks for the intro video, although your take on IFS is incorrect. IFS doesn’t teach a limited set of parts. But what is different is that IFS strives to facilitate internal conversations between parts and what they refer to as Self. IFS teaches its practitioners “direct access” which is essentially voice dialogue, a discussion between the therapist and a part of the client, but DA is only used when there isn’t enough Self present in the client to have the discussion themself.
Really appreciate you #doctorasa for bringing back happiness for giving me a permanent cure to my HSV2. Thank you so much, friends join me to thank him for what he has actually done for me and I pray to you all for a good life and good health, and most especially to you #doctorasa....

What is the desired outcome from this approach therapy ?
I’m worried that the desired outcome won’t be clear enough & I won’t get a result from the practice .
I love this, but how you heal the vulnerability of each of the parts? With awareness? I try to do this but it didn't heal completely.
With direct relationship from the aware ego to the vulnerability. 🤍
